Brice Turang went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two walks to lead the Brewers to a 5-2 win over the Marlins on Saturday.
Turang had an outstanding day at the plate, reaching four times and driving in three of the team’s four runs. After drawing a walk in the third inning, he drove in a pair of runs with a two-run blast off Sandy Alcantara in the fifth. A base hit in the sixth would bring home the third run. The 26-year-old second baseman is up to four homers and six steals while slashing .299/.434/.582 with 19 runs scored and 14 RBI across 84 plate appearances.

Brice Turang went 3-for-4 with two homers, a walk and three runs scored Sunday against the Nationals.
Turang’s hardest-hit ball through his first two big-league seasons (2023 and ’24) was 108.3 mph. He topped 104 mph on three percent of his balls in play. Today, he came in at 109.6 and 104.0 mph on his homers and 106.9 mph on a line-drive single. He’s hitting .298/.441/.617 with three homers and five steals in 13 games.

Brice Turang went 1-for-3 with a walk and his fifth stolen base of the season on Friday against the Nationals in his return to the lineup.
Turang looked fresh after getting a pair of contests off earlier this week to address some lingering ankle tendinitis. The 26-year-old speedster has evolved into an all-around threat in recent years and remains one of the top fantasy options at the keystone. He’s been the second-most valuable fantasy second baseman this season, hitting .275 (11-for-40) with 11 runs scored, one homer, seven RBI and five steals across 11 games.

Brice Turang (ankle) returned to the Brewers’ starting lineup for Friday’s series opener against the Nationals.
After missing each of the team’s previous two contests due to tendinitis in his ankle, Turang is back in there at second base and hitting atop the Brewers’ lineup for Friday’s battle against Jake Irvin and the Nationals. He’s off to a strong start offensively, slashing .270/.413/.514 with a homer, seven RBI, 10 runs scored and four stolen bases in his first 10 games.

Brice Turang is not in the lineup on Wednesday day against the Red Sox as he battles ankle tendinitis.
Turang claims that it’s a short term absence, and he plans to be back in the lineup on Friday. In the meantime, David Hamilton will make his second straight start at second base, with Luis Rengifo in the lineup at third base.

Brice Turang is dealing with a lower-body injury, according to Brewers manager Pat Murphy.
Murphy didn’t provide any specifics beside that Turang has been dealing with either a foot or ankle issue for the past week, which is one reason why he’s not in there for Tuesday’s game against the Red Sox. It’s unclear whether his availability is in question moving forward. There should be some clarity on his status soon.
  • MIL Left Fielder #22
Christian Yelich is not in the lineup against the Red Sox on Tuesday.
The Brewers are going righty-heavy Tuesday, which makes sense because they’re facing one of the toughest lefties in baseball in Garrett Crochet. That means that not only Yelich will sit, but Brice Turang will also get his first day of rest of the season as well. Luis Matos will be the designated hitter, and David Hamilton gets the start at second base.

Brice Turang clobbered his first home run of the season during Wednesday’s win over the Rays.
Turang got a fastball over the heart of the plate from Rays ace Drew Rasmussen in the third inning and didn’t miss, sending a majestic 392-foot blast to left-center field for his first round-tripper of the year. The 26-year-old is one of the top fantasy options at the keystone, thanks to his increasingly potent power/speed combination. He’s hitting .409 (9-for-22) with one homer and two steals through six games.
  • CHC 3rd Baseman #3
Alex Bregman is at third base and batting fifth on Tuesday as Team USA squares off against Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic final.
Team USA manager Mark DeRosa will turn to Bregman at the hot corner over Gunnar Henderson, who crushed a game-tying solo homer during Sunday’s semifinal win over the Dominican Republic, to face Venezuela lefty Eduardo Rodriguez. The other notable changes here for matchup reasons are Byron Buxton in centerfield over Pete Crow-Armstrong and Will Smith getting another turn at catcher over Cal Raleigh. Here’s the full lineup: Bobby Witt Jr. (SS), Bryce Harper (1B), Aaron Judge (RF), Kyle Schwarber (DH), Bregman (3B), Roman Anthony (LF), Smith (C), Brice Turang (2B) and Buxton (CF).
  • BAL Shortstop #2
Gunnar Henderson is at third base and batting fifth on Sunday as Team USA squares off against the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic semifinal.
Henderson gets the nod over Alex Bregman at third base to face Dominican Republic starter Luis Severino, whom he’s had plenty of success against dating back to Severino’s time with the Yankees. The other notable change for Team USA manager Mark DeRosa involves giving Will Smith the start at catcher over Cal Raleigh. Here’s the full lineup: Bobby Witt Jr. (SS), Bryce Harper (1B), Aaron Judge (RF), Kyle Schwarber (DH), Henderson (3B), Smith (C), Roman Anthony (LF), Brice Turang (2B) and Pete Crow-Armstrong (CF).
