Brice Turang had three more hits, including two doubles, and drove in two runs Saturday against the Rockies.
Turang could soon find himself back in the leadoff spot at this rate. He’s batting .429 during a 12-game hitting streak. The last four of those have all been multihit games.
  • MIL 2nd Baseman #2
Brice Turang scored twice and drove in two runs while going 2-for-4 in Friday’s win for the Brewers over the Rockies.
Turang got the Brew Crew on the board with a two-run single in the fourth inning. The 25-year-old has hit for very little power as seen in his .370 slugging percentage, but a .283 average and 16 stolen bases has made him more asset than detriment from a fantasy perspective over the first 82 games for Milwaukee.

Brice Turang went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run against the Twins on Sunday.
Turang’s home run, a three-run shot off David Festa in the fifth inning, was his fifth of the season. Turang is more-known for his speed as he stole 50 bases last year and has 16 stolen bases this year. He’s getting on base more this year and has boosted his average from .254 to .274 (so far) in 2025, but his slugging percentage has barely improved despite being only two off last year’s homer total through late June. Turang has just 11 doubles and zero triples.
  • MIL 2nd Baseman #2
Brice Turang went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and an RBI against the Twins on Saturday.
Turang drove in a run on a sacrifice fly in the first inning, then later led off the eighth with a double and scored on a sacrifice fly by Isaac Collins. Turang collected a second hit and run scored in the ninth. The 25-year-old second baseman is hitting a solid .272/.351/355 with four homers, 49 runs scored, and 16 steals across 317 plate appearances.
  • MIL Right Fielder #22
The Brewers are sitting Christian Yelich, Brice Turang, Sal Frelick and Jake Bauers against Red Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet on Monday.
Bauers is strictly a platoon guy, but the other three often play against lefties. Crochet, though, isn’t a typical southpaw, and all three regulars could use a blow anyway; the Brewers are playing for the 11th straight day and none of the three have had a day off during the span. It’s the first time Yelich has been out of the lineup since May 1, Turang since May 7 and Frelick since May 13. In their places, the Brewers have William Contreras DHing, Andruw Monasterio playing second and Daz Cameron getting a rare start in right.
  • MIL Right Fielder #10
Sal Frelick is leading off on Sunday against the Rays.
It feels like the Brewers are trying to shake things up after dropping three consecutive games. That includes moving Frelick into the leadoff spot to face Rays righty Drew Rasmussen. Jackson Chourio has been moved to the second spot in the lineup with Brice Turang dropped to fifth in the order. We’ll see if it’s a one-game decision or more of a permanent move in the coming days.
  • MIL 2nd Baseman #2
Brice Turang (illness) returned to the Brewers’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against Zack Littell and the Rays.
Turang sat out two of the team’s previous three games while feeling a bit under the weather. It sounds like Thursday’s off-day did him a ton of good though as he’s feeling much improved and ready to get back to work. He’ll start at second base and bat second for the Brewers on Friday evening in Tampa Bay.

Brewers manager Pat Murphy told reporters he anticipates Brice Turang returning to the lineup for Friday’s game against the Rays.
Turang sat out Wednesday’s series finale against the Astros as he continues to battle a lingering illness. MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy reports the 25-year-old has lost weight recently due to the unspecified illness and the club is trying to manage his workload as he makes his way back into shape.
  • MIL 2nd Baseman #2
Brice Turang is not in the starting lineup for the Brewers on Wednesday against the Astros.
The Brewers are facing left-hander Framber Valdez, so they’ll go with a more right-handed-heavy lineup with Vinny Capra at third base and Caleb Durbin shifting to second base. Brewers manager Pat Murphy noted that Turang was dealing with an illness, so it’s possible this is related.
  • MIL 2nd Baseman #2
Brice Turang is in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Astros.
Turang is back at second base and batting second on Tuesday night after getting an extra day of rest during Monday’s series opener. The 25-year-old second baseman has been battling an illness over the past few days, so it’s a positive sign that he’s feeling better and didn’t require an extended absence.
