Orioles sent INF/OF Bryan Ramos outright to Triple-A Norfolk.
The 24-year-old infielder was a popular waiver claim throughout the off-season, but this time he made it through and will report to Triple-A Norfolk. If he can’t crack the big league roster with both Jackson Holliday and Jordan Westburg sidelined though, it doesn’t speak well to his chances of earning an opportunity with the O’s anytime soon.

Orioles designate INF Bryan Ramos for assignment.
The Orioles have claimed Ramos off waivers twice this offseason, but he was not able to make the team as a backup infielder. If he clears waivers, he could report to Triple-A.

Orioles claimed INF Bryan Ramos off of waivers from the Cardinals.
The Cardinals claimed the 23-year-old infielder off of waivers from the Orioles during the first week of February and now he’ll rejoin the O’s after the Cardinals designated him for assignment on Monday. With Jordan Westburg set to open the season on the injured list, Ramos will add extra depth at third base.

Cardinals designated INF Bryan Ramos or assignment.
Ramos was claimed off of waivers from the Orioles in early February, but he gets the boot from the Cardinals’ 40-man roster to make room for the addition of Zak Kent on Monday. Ramos has already changed teams a couple of times since the end of the 2025 season and he could once again attract interest on waivers.

Cardinals claimed 3B Bryan Ramos off waivers from the Orioles.
Ramos was traded to the Orioles earlier this week and then designated for assignment just a couple of days later. The 23-year-old hit .216/.309/.396 in Triple-A last season, but he posted impressive exit velocities and could get a chance at playing time on a rebuilding Cardinals team.

Orioles acquired 3B Bryan Ramos from the White Sox for cash considerations.
Once thought to be the White Sox’s third baseman of the future, Ramos has seen his stock drop the last two years, particularly after he hit .216/.309/.396 in Triple-A last season. He’s just turning 24 and the change of scenery might do him some good, but he’s out of options and it’s hard to see him landing a spot in Baltimore’s infield. Odds are that he’ll wind up being DFA’d again.

White Sox designated INF Bryan Ramos for assignment.
The White Sox needed to clear a spot on their 40-man roster for the addition of Seranthony Domínguez on Thursday and unfortunately it looks like Ramos was the odd-man out this time around. The 23-year-old infielder has slashed a cringe-inducing .198/.244/.333 with three homers, 13 RBI and a 26/7 K/BB ratio over 120 plate appearances with the White Sox over the past two seasons. He could potentially attract some interest on waivers.

White Sox optioned 3B Bryan Ramos to Triple-A Charlotte.
Ramos has been shipped back to the minors to make room for corner infielder Miguel Vargas to return from the injured list for Wednesday’s game against the Rays.

Lenyn Sosa is not in the White Sox’ starting lineup for Friday night’s showdown against the Tigers in Motown.
It appears to be nothing more than a routine night off for the 25-year-old slugger. Curtis Mead will cover first base in his absence on Friday evening while Bryan Ramos will draw a start at third base and bat eighth for the White Sox against Tigers’ right-hander Jack Flaherty.

White Sox recalled 3B Bryan Ramos from Triple-A Charlotte.
Ramos, who appeared in 32 games for the White Sox last year, will be making his 2025 debut after hitting .218/.317/.391 with 14 homers in 392 plate appearances for Charlotte. His stock has definitely declined some the last two years, and while he’s still just 23 and young enough to rebound, it’s hard to project him as the White Sox’s third baseman of the future at this point. He’ll probably share time with Curtis Mead for now, and he might be sent back down if Miguel Vargas comes back this month.
