Drake Baldwin won the National League Rookie of the Year Award.
Baldwin received 21 out of the 30 first-place votes, with nine going to Cade Horton, who finished in second place. Caleb Durbin finished third and Isaac Collins finished fourth in the NL ROY balloting. The 24-year-old backstop broke out as Atlanta’s primary catcher, slashing .270/.340/.470 with 19 homers and an .810 OPS across 124 games. He’s the first catcher to take home the hardware since Buster Posey back in 2010.
  • CHC Starting Pitcher #22
Caleb Horton, Drake Baldwin and Caleb Durbin were named finalists for the National League Rookie of the Year Award.
Horton enters as the heavy favorite after emerging as one of baseball’s most dominant pitchers in the second half, posting a dazzling 1.03 ERA across 61 1/3 innings over 12 starts. Baldwin would be a worthy choice in most years after cementing himself as Atlanta’s catcher of both the present and future during an impressive full-season debut, slugging 19 homers across 124 games. Durbin’s inclusion comes as a mild surprise over unheralded Nationals outfielder Daylen Lile, who posted an .845 OPS with 35 extra-base hits over 91 contests. Nationals center fielder Dylan Crews and Dodgers starer-turned-postseason closer Roki Sasaki entered the year as preseason favorites, but both missed most of the campaign due to injury. The winner will be announced on Monday, November 10.
  • MIL 3rd Baseman #21
Caleb Durbin will undergo a debridement procedure on his elbow on Oct. 30.
Durbin is expected to be ready for spring training. The 25-year-old showed a steady bat and improved his defense as 2025 went along, so there’s little doubt that he’ll stick as the Brewers’ third baseman to begin 2026.
  • MIL 3rd Baseman #21
Caleb Durbin went 2-for-3 with a triple, double and a stolen base in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Dodgers.
Durbin was one of the few bright spots for Milwaukee in this one as they were shut down by a Dodgers starter for the third consecutive contest to open the best-of-seven series. The 25-year-old infielder smacked a one-out triple against Tyler Glasnow and scored Milwaukee’s lone run in the second inning. He’s batting .280 (7-for-25) with two RBI and two steals in eight games this postseason.
  • MIL 1st Baseman #9
Jake Bauers is in left field and batting eighth for Tuesday’s NLCS Game 2 matchup against the Dodgers.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy is going to shake things up when they face Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto after his club was limited to just one run on two hits by Dodgers starter Blake Snell in Monday’s series opener. Bauers came off the bench to deliver a ground-rule double in the ninth inning against high-leverage reliever Roki Sasaki and will draw his second start of the postseason in this one. Here’s the full lineup: Jackson Chourio (RF), Brice Turang (2B), William Contreras (C), Christian Yelich (DH), Andrew Vaughn (1B), Sal Frelick (CF), Caleb Durbin (3B), Bauers (LF) and Joey Ortiz (SS).
  • MIL Center Fielder #11
Jackson Chourio is leading off Monday’s NLCS Game 1 showdown against the Dodgers.
Chourio gets the nod in the leadoff spot over veteran Christian Yelich as Milwaukee’s top-of-the-order table-setter to face Dodgers lefty ace Blake Snell to kick off the extended best-of-seven series at American Family Field. The 21-year-old franchise cornerstone told reporters his right hamstring is feeling close to full strength again after aggravating the issue during last week’s NLDS opener against the Cubs. Here’s the full lineup: Chourio (RF), Christian Yelich (DH), William Contreras (C), Brice Turang (2B), Andrew Vaughn (1B), Sal Frelick (CF), Caleb Durbin (3B), Isaac Collins (LF) and Joey Ortiz (SS).
  • MIL Center Fielder #11
Jackson Chourio (hamstring) is in left field and batting second in Thursday’s Game 4 showdown against the Cubs.
Chourio remains in Milwaukee’s lineup for Thursday night’s potential series-clinching contest at Wrigley Field despite battling a lingering right hamstring issue that hasn’t adversely impacted his availability throughout the best-of-five series. Blake Perkins is back in center field over Brandon Lockridge with Andrew Vaughn at first base over Jake Bauers to face Cubs veteran lefty Matthew Boyd: Here’s the full lineup: Christian Yelich (DH), Chourio (LF), William Contreras (C), Brice Turang (2B), Vaughn (1B), Caleb Durbin (3B), Sal Frelick (RF), Perkins (CF) and Joey Ortiz (SS).
  • MIL Catcher #24
William Contreras (hand) is in the lineup for Saturday’s NLDS Game 1 matchup against the Cubs.
Contreras is good to go after missing a handful of games at the conclusion of the regular season with a lingering left hand issue. The other notable development for Milwaukee is manager Pat Murphy sticking with lefties Brice Turang and Christian Yelich near the top of the order with southpaw Matthew Boyd taking the ball for Chicago in this one. Here’s the full lineup: Jackson Chourio (LF), Turang (2B), Contreras (C), Yelich (DH), Andrew Vaughn (1B), Sal Frelick (RF), Caleb Durbin (3B), Blake Perkins (CF) and Joey Ortiz (SS).
  • MIL 3rd Baseman #21
Caleb Durbin went 2-for-3 with a walk and two RBI on Thursday night, leading the Brewers to a 5-2 victory over the Angels.
Durbin opened the scoring in the ballgame with an RBI single off of Yusei Kikuchi in the fourth inning. He then tied the game at two runs apiece as he greeted Jose Fermin with a two-out, RBI single in the sixth inning. The 25-year-old infielder has held his own in his rookie campaign, slashing .265/.341/.402 with 11 homers, 52 RBI and 16 stolen bases over 472 plate appearances.
  • MIL 3rd Baseman #21
Caleb Durbin went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run as the Brewers fell to the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon in Milwaukee.
Durbin got the Brewers on the board with a 359-foot (93.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Miles Mikolas in the fourth inning. The 25-year-old infielder also led off the second inning with a double, but he was left stranded there. With his two-hit attack, Durbin is now slashing .262/.337/.402 with 11 homers, 49 RBI and 15 stolen bases (21 attempts) over 460 plate appearances on the year.
