We’ll be interested to see if anyone grabs Chen. He hasn’t been in the Dodgers’ plans for quite some time, so he wouldn’t have been expensive to acquire previously. Now he’ll come at just the price of a waiver claim. The 27-year-old Chen, once a top prospect, hit .289/.359/.584 for Triple-A Las Vegas last season. He could be a useful right-handed bat off the bench.

Chen, who has moved back to left field this year, is batting .284 with 3 HR, 15 RBI, 21/12 K/BB and 5 SB in 81 AB. From a fantasy standpoint, it’s nice to see him running again. Chen was a 30-30 man in 1999, but he attempted just one steal last year.
