Rangers activated RHP Cole Winn from the 15-day injured list.
Winn returns to Texas’ relief corps ahead of Tuesday’s series opener against the Royals after missing just over two weeks with arm fatigue. The 26-year-old middle reliever holds a serviceable 5.59 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 23/7 K/BB ratio over 19 1/3 innings of work this season.

Rangers placed RHP Cole Winn on the 15-day injured list with right arm fatigue.
Winn, who has collected one save and five holds this year, had given up four runs in his last four appearances, taking his ERA to 5.59. He’ll rest up for a spell and then likely go on a rehab assignment before rejoining the Rangers.

Jacob Latz notched his first save Saturday with a flawless ninth against the A’s.
Latz has seemed like a candidate for saves in the Texas bullpen for weeks now, but this is his first save of the year. He joins Jakob Junis (three), Tyler Alexander (two) and Cole Winn (one) in having earned saves for the Rangers. Junis set him up with a scoreless eighth tonight, while Winn wound up with the win for pitching a scoreless sixth. It’s difficult to recommend any one Texas reliever right now, but Latz is probably the best bet of the bunch from an ERA standpoint.

Jacob Latz finished off a 5-0 game with a perfect ninth against the Mariners on Friday.
This was a 3-0 game after eighth, but the Rangers scored twice in the ninth to take away the save situation. It didn’t appear that Jakob Junis ever warmed up, so this probably would have been a save chance for Latz if the Rangers hadn’t scored. Cole Winn pitched a hitless eighth for a hold.

Cole Winn gave up three runs and two homers in his inning Wednesday against the A’s.
Winn, who entered in the sixth, gave up a two-run homer to Shea Langeliers in his first inning of work and then another two-run shot to Jacob Wilson in the seventh. It’s not necessarily the end for him as a candidate to close, but it’s obviously not what the Rangers were looking for tonight.

Cole Winn got his first MLB save after protecting a 3-0 lead in the ninth Wednesday against the Mariners.
Winn gave up a leadoff single to Cole Young, but he then retired Luke Raley, Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodríguez in order. Winn has thrown 6 1/3 scoreless innings to begin the year, and his velocity, which has been down about two mph from last year, came back up some today; he averaged 95.8 mph with his fastball, compared to 94.1 mph in his first six outings and 96.2 mph in his 33 appearances last year. Though we do have to note that Jakob Junis, who earned saves the last two days, wasn’t available in this one, Winn seems like a threat for more saves in Texas.

Rangers placed RHP Cole Winn on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to September 24, with a right rotator cuff strain.
That will obviously end the 25-year-old hurler’s 2025 campaign. He was terrific in 33 appearances out of the Rangers’ bullpen on the season, compiling a 1.51 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and a 35/17 K/BB ratio over 41 2/3 innings. No word yet on the severity of the injury and how it’ll impact his offseason routine.

Rangers activated RHP Cole Winn from the 15-day injured list.
The 25-year-old right-hander had been shelved since August 20 due to nerve irritation in his right hand. Before landing on the injured list he had registered a brilliant 1.45 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and a 26/15 K/BB ratio over 31 innings (25 appearances) out of the Rangers’ bullpen. Danny Coulombe (shoulder) landed on the injured list in a corresponding move on Thursday.

Rangers placed RHP Cole Winn on the 15-day injured list with nerve irritation in his right hand.
No word yet regarding how much time Winn misses. With only five-plus weeks left in the year, there’s a decent chance he’s done for the season. The 25-year-old righty has compiled a sparkling 1.45 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 26/15 K/BB ratio across 31 innings (25 appearances) this season at the highest level.

Rangers recalled RHP Cole Winn from Triple-A Round Rock.
Winn provides the Rangers bullpen with a fresh arm heading into Monday’s series opener against the Athletics with veteran high-leverage specialist Chris Martin heading to the injured list with a calf strain.
