    Athletics released RHP Dylan Floro.
The 34-year-old Floro might be done, unfortunately. One of the game’s most underrated relievers for several seasons, he had a 3.80 ERA in 68 2/3 innings for the Nationals and Diamondbacks last year, but he really collapsed down the stretch and was released by Arizona in mid-September. His velocity is currently about three mph down from where he was a couple of years ago, and he was struggling to the tune of a 7.01 ERA for Triple-A Las Vegas this season.

Athletics reassigned RHP Dylan Floro to minor league camp.
Floro was signed to a minor league contract with an invite to spring training near the end of February, but the 34-year-old didn’t do enough to make the MLB roster. It’s possible Floro could opt out of his deal, but if not, he’ll open the season with Triple-A Las Vegas.

Athletics signed RHP Dylan Floro to a minor league contract.
The deal is now official. Floro struggled late last year following a trade to the Diamondbacks, but looked sharp in 51 appearances for the Nationals prior to the deal. The 34-year-old righty has a decent shot at making the Athletics’ season-opening relief mix, but he’s unlikely to pitch in high-leverage spots.

MLB.com’s Martín Gallegos reports that Dylan Floro has a locker in the A’s clubhouse.
This is a good indication that he’s now a member of the team; however, we don’t yet know if it’s a major league deal or not. Floro had a poor stint in Arizona last year, pitching to a 9.37 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in 15 appearances after the trade deadline. However, he had a 2.06 ERA in 52 1/3 innings with the Nationals before the trade deadline and has been a solid reliever who could win a spot in the Athletics’ bullpen this season.

    Diamondbacks released RHP Dylan Floro.
Floro was awful with the Diamondbacks with a 9.37 ERA and 1.65 WHIP after being acquired by Arizona at the deadline. The right-hander is now free to sign with a new team, but may need to wait until 2025 to find a new home.

Diamondbacks designated RHP Dylan Floro for assignment.
Well, that didn’t work out. Floro was acquired at the deadline to boost the Diamondbacks’ bullpen, but all he boosted was his ERA. He came to Arizona with a 2.06 mark, but he was awful in Arizona with a 9.37 ERA and 1.65 WHIP over 15 appearances. Floro will likely see interest on the waiver wire, and will hit free agency if he goes unclaimed.

Diamondbacks acquired RHP Dylan Floro from the Nationals for INF Andrés Chaparro.
The deal is now official. Floro further bolsters Arizona’s well-stocked bullpen as yet another experienced middle relief option. The 33-year-old righty has made a whopping 381 relief appearances in the big leagues dating back to 2016.

The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal reports the Diamondbacks are acquiring right-hander Dylan Floro from the Nationals.
Rosenthal adds that it’ll be slugging prospect Andres Chaparro heading back to Washington in the swap. Floro has a ton of high-leverage experience and further augment’s Arizona’s formidable relief depth.

Dylan Floro (shoulder) made his spring training debut on Saturday.
Floro has been brought along slowly this spring due to right shoulder tightness. The 33-year-old veteran righty is expected to be ready for Opening Day.

Dylan Floro is dealing with shoulder tightness.
Nationals manager Dave Martinez told reporters he’s not very concerned adding that Floro has dealt with similar issues in previous spring trainings. The veteran right-hander, who signed a one-year, $2.25 million pact with Washington back in December, won’t need a ton of time to ramp-up for Opening Day, so fantasy managers shouldn’t panic at this point.
