Brewers activated RHP Grant Anderson from the 15-day injured list.

Grant Anderson (ankle) will begin a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Nashville on Saturday.
The 28-year-old hurler has been shelved since August 24 due to tendinitis in his right ankle. Given the relatively short layoff, he should only need a couple of appearances at the Triple-A level before he’s an option to rejoin the brewers’ bullpen. Anderson holds a stellar 2.87 ERA over 62 2/3 innings in 57 appearances for the Brewers this season.

Brewers placed RHP Grant Anderson on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to August 24, with right ankle tendinitis.
Anderson heads to the shelf after posting a 2.87 ERA across 62 2/3 innings (57 appearances) this season in his Brewers debut. The 28-year-old figures to miss at least a couple weeks. It’s a significant hit for Milwaukee since he’s been a reliable workhorse out of the bullpen.

Brewers recalled RHP Grant Anderson from Triple-A Nashville.
Anderson returns to the big leagues with lefty DL Hall hitting the shelf with an oblique strain. The 28-year-old righty has compiled a solid 3.07 ERA across 58 2/3 innings (53 appearances) this season in low-leverage spots.

Brewers optioned RHP Grant Anderson to Triple-A Nasvhille.
Anderson’s roster spot is being taken by Jacob Misiorowski, with Misiorowski activated off the injured list for a start Friday against the Reds. Anderson will likely be back before the end of 2025 in a role that offers no fantasy upside.

Brewers recalled RHP Grant Anderson from Triple-A Nashville.
Just like the first time he was called up on March 31, Anderson is taking Aaron Civale’s spot, although it was an injury the previous time and now it’s because of a trade. Anderson has a 3.86 ERA in 32 2/3 innings out of the Milwaukee pen this season.

Anderson returns to the minors after allowing three runs over 1 1/3 innings on Monday in relief against Atlanta. The 27-year-old middle reliever holds a solid 3.86 ERA across 32 2/3 innings (28 appearances) this season for Milwaukee. He’ll be back soon.

Brewers recalled RHP Grant Anderson from Triple-A Nashville.
Anderson is replacing Aaron Civale on the Milwaukee roster and should be available to cover multiple innings today if needed. The 27-year-old had a 6.35 ERA in 62 1/3 innings over 49 relief appearances for the Rangers the last two years.
  • MIL Catcher #76
Brewers optioned C Jeferson Quero, RHP Grant Anderson, RHP Logan Henderson RHP Carlos Rodriguez and LHP Grant Wolfram to Triple-A Nashville and reassigned OF Jared Oliva and C Ramon Rodriguez to minor league camp.
All of the pitchers optioned by the Brew Crew have a chance to make appearances for Milwaukee before the end of the year, but only Rodriguez is likely to make starts. The biggest name here is Quero; a catcher who missed most of the 2024 campaign with a shoulder issue, but offers considerable fantasy upside and could be be in the majors before the season ends.

Brewers acquired RHP Grant Anderson from the Rangers for LHP Mason Molina.
The 27-year-old hurler had been designated for assignment by the Rangers earlier in the week, so they were content to flip him for anything that they could get at this stage. Anderson made 23 appearances at the big league level for the Rangers in 2024 — posting an 8.10 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and a 29/10 K/BB ratio over his 26 2/3 innings of work. He’ll add bullpen depth for the Brewers.
