Josh Naylor is at first base and batting third for Monday’s winner-take-all ALCS Game 7 against the Blue Jays.
Naylor, who is batting .341 (15-for-44) with three homers this postseason, has been moved up in Seattle’s lineup with Jorge Polanco dropped to the cleanup spot as they attempt to make the World Series for the first time in the franchise’s 49-year history. The only other significant change involves Victor Robles in right field in place of Dominic Canzone. Here’s the full lineup: Julio Rodríguez (CF), Cal Raleigh (C), Naylor (1B), Polanco (DH), Randy Arozarena (LF), Eugenio Suárez (3B), J.P. Crawford (SS), Leo Rivas (2B) and Robles (RF).

Leo Rivas will once again start at second base and bat ninth for the Mariners for Game 5 of the ALCS against the Blue Jays on Friday.
Rivas started in Game 4 with Victor Robles shifting to the bench and that’s the same alignment that the M’s will use against Kevin Gausman on Friday evening. Here’s the full lineup: Julio Rodríguez (CF), Cal Raleigh (C), Jorge Polanco (DH), Josh Naylor (1B), Randy Arozarena (LF), Eugenio Suárez (3B), J.P. Crawford (SS), Dominic Canzone (RF) and Rivas (2B).

Here’s the full lineup: Randy Arozarena (LF), Cal Raleigh (C), Julio Rodríguez (CF), Jorge Polanco (DH), Josh Naylor (1B), Eugenio Suárez (3B), Dominic Canzone (RF), J.P. Crawford (SS) and Rivas (2B).

Josh Naylor is in the lineup for Sunday’s ALDS Game 2 showdown against the Tigers.
Naylor has yet to depart for Arizona to be with his wife for the birth of their first child, which means he’s still in there for a critical Game 2 showdown against Tigers ace Tarik Skubal. The 28-year-old slugger figures to head out on paternity leave at some point during the best-of-five series. Here’s the full lineup: Randy Arozarena (LF), Cal Raleigh (C), Julio Rodríguez (CF), Jorge Polanco (2B), Eugenio Suárez (3B), Naylor (1B), Mitch Garver (DH), Victor Robles (RF) and SS J.P. Crawford.

Josh Naylor is in the lineup for Saturday’s ALDS Game 1 matchup against the Tigers.
Naylor could wind up missing time during the ALDS if his wife goes into labor, according to Adam Jude of The Seattle Times. The 28-year-old slugger is expected to fly to Arizona to be with his wife for the birth of their first child — due Saturday — once she goes into labor. It’s a developing situation, but it appears Naylor will be in there on Saturday night at T-Mobile Park for the outset of the best-of-five series. Here’s the full lineup to face Detroit’s bullpen: Randy Arozarena (LF), Cal Raleigh (C), Julio Rodríguez (CF), Naylor (1B), Jorge Polanco (2B), Eugenio Suárez (3B), Dominic Canzone (DH), Victor Robles (RF) and J.P. Crawford (SS).
  • SEA Shortstop #3
J.P. Crawford blasted a grand slam during a seven-run second inning on Sunday night, powering the Mariners to a 7-3 victory over the Astros.
The Mariners pushed across their first run as Victor Robles drew a bases-loaded walk off of Jason Alexander. Crawford followed by crushing a 1-2 sweeper for a 365-foot (100.8 mph EV) grand slam that made it a 5-0 ballgame. It would be Crawford’s only hit in four at-bats in the ballgame, but it played a critical role in the rout. He’s now hitting .266/.353/.374 with 12 homers and 58 RBI on the season.

J.P. Crawford drove in three runs in a 12-inning win for the Mariners on Thursday over the Angels.
Crawford also stole a base; his eighth of the season. Two of the runs were driven in on a double off Jose Soriano, and he tied the game in the 11th with a single into right field. Crawford has struggled for most of the summer, but the three-RBI night ups his total to total to 50 with a slash of .263/.353/.355.

J.P. Crawford belted a go-ahead two-run homer in the fourth inning on Sunday, propelling the Mariners to a one-run victory over the Rangers.
The two sides traded the lead back and forth in the early innings on Sunday until Crawfords’ 408-foot (104.5 mph EV) two-run shot off of Jacob deGrom in the fourth inning put the Mariners ahead to stay. He finished the afternoon 1-for-3 and is now slashing .265/.358/.372 with nine long balls and 44 RBI on the season.

J.P. Crawford hit a walk-off two-run homer to give the Mariners a 4-3 win over the Rangers on Friday.
Crawford has really been struggling with the bat as of late and has moved down to the eighth spot, but it didn’t matter Friday. He took Robert Garcia deep with Dom Canzone on first and it gave Seattle the victory while giving Crawford his eighth homer of the season. Crawford has been a streaky hitter for most of his career, and this is a nice start to the month of August. Fantasy managers who don’t play in on-base percentage leagues can still better up the middle.
  • SEA Shortstop #3
J.P. Crawford is not in the lineup for Monday’s series opener against the Athletics.
It’s an extremely rare day off for Crawford, who has suited up for pretty much every game this season for Seattle. It’ll be versatile utility specialist Dylan Moore getting a turn at shortstop on Monday evening in West Sacramento.
