White Sox transferred RHP Jordan Leasure to the 60-day injured list.
Leasure will be out at least two months after hitting the injured list with a right flexor strain earlier this week. The 27-year-old reliever holds a bloated 6.27 ERA across 18 2/3 innings for the White Sox this season. There’s a strong possibility his season could be over given the nature of the injury, which typically results in extended absences.

White Sox placed RHP Jordan Leasure on the 15-day injured list with a right flexor strain.
Leasure had a 6.27 ERA in 18 2/3 innings for the White Sox this year, struggling again even after a demotion last weekend. He’ll try to get right on the injured list.

White Sox recalled RHP Jordan Leasure from Triple-A Charlotte.
Leasure returns to Chicago’s relief corps with Jordan Hicks landing on the shelf with a lat strain. The 27-year-old has struggled to an underwhelming 6.06 ERA across 16 1/3 innings at the highest level this season. He’ll operate in low-leverage spots for the White Sox until he turns things around.

White Sox optioned RHP Jordan Leasure to Triple-A Charlotte.
The move makes room for the newly acquired Trevor Richards. It’s Leasure’s first minor league demotion since the end of the 2024 season. One of the White Sox’s most reliable relievers while picking up seven saves last year, he’d given up five homers in 16 1/3 innings this season, resulting in a 6.06 ERA.

Jordan Leasure did heavy lifting for the White Sox on Friday night, recording the final five outs to protect a two-run advantage.
Leasure was called upon with two men on and one out in the eighth inning with the White Sox holding a two-run lead. He quickly dispatched of Zach McKinstry on strikes and Dillon Dingler on a line drive to shortstop to end the threat. He then returned for the ninth and got Trey Sweeney, Colt Keith and Gleyber Torres in order to end it. On the season, Leasure has now converted seven of his first 10 save chances.

Jordan Leasure allowed one hit and one walk en route to the save on Wednesday against the Twins.
The suddenly surging White Sox have now won four straight games and Leasure has secured the save in two of those. He got himself into trouble here after the first two batters he faced reached base, but dug deep to get out of the jam. All signs point to him being the closest thing Chicago has to trusted closer.

Jordan Leasure retired all four batters he faced for his fifth save Monday against the Twins.
Leasure was the seventh pitcher to work in a bullpen game for the White Sox today. His fifth save breaks a tie with Grant Taylor for the team lead. He’s earned three of them while posting a 2.77 ERA since the beginning of August. We still wouldn’t want to roster a White Sox reliever, but Leasure clearly seems like the best bet of the bunch right now.

Jordan Leasure was called upon to get the final out on Tuesday night, protecting a three-run lead to earn his fourth save of the season.
The White Sox entered the ninth inning with a 9-3 lead, but things got a bit tighter after Colt Keith clobbered a three-run homer off of Mike Vasil. Vasil rebounded to get the next two outs but then issued a two-out walk to Riley Greene, prompting the call to the bullpen. Leasure then retired Spencer Torkelson on strikes to end it. He’s likely second in line for save chances behind Grant Taylor, which will continue to give him an occasional opportunity here and there.

Jordan Leasure fired a scoreless ninth to procure a save versus the Angels on Saturday.
Leasure didn’t allow a hit, didn’t allow a walk, and didn’t strike anyone out. It’s the third save of the campaign for the 26-year-old, who offers some long-term potential, but doesn’t get enough chances for a bad baseball team to justify rostering in 2025.

Jordan Leasure recorded his second save with a scoreless ninth Wednesday against the Blue Jays.
Grant Taylor set him up with a scoreless eighth against the top of the Jays order. Leasure then retired Addison Barger, Will Wagner and Myles Straw, with an Alejandro Kirk single mixed in. Leasure got the call in a one-run game even though he’d allowed single runs in six of his previous 11 appearances. We wouldn’t suggest picking him up in mixed leagues.
