Kyle Harrison was lit up for eight runs in 2 1/3 innings by the A’s in Las Vegas on Monday.
Harrison has been brilliant in major league parks, but Shea Langeliers, Tyler Soderstrom and Zack Gelof all took him deep in Las Vegas tonight, and his ERA jumped from 1.57 to 2.72 as a result. There are unlikely to be any lingering effects, and he’s a fine play at home against the Phillies on Sunday.

Kyle Harrison limited the Giants to one run in 5 2/3 innings and struck out 12 in the Brewers’ 8-3 victory Tuesday.
11 1/2 months after being traded for him, Harrison fanned Rafael Devers three times tonight. He got 19 whiffs and allowed just two hard-hit balls, with the damage coming on Willy Adames’s 368-foot homer. Harrison is one inning shy of qualifying for the ERA title or he’d be second at 1.57, behind only Cristopher Sánchez at 1.47. He’s due to make his next start Sunday against the Rockies at Coors.

Kyle Harrison tossed six scoreless innings and got the win in the Brewers’ 6-0 victory over the Cardinals on Tuesday.
Harrison gave up four hits, walked none and struck out two. He improved to 6-1 with the win. Harrison lowered his ERA to 1.57 while he has a 2.93 xFIP. Harrison has been a fantasy ace in his first season with the Brewers. He’s lined up to face the Giants at home next week.

Kyle Harrison allowed just two hits and one walk with 11 strikeouts across seven shutout innings to earn the victory in a 5-0 win against the Cubs on Wednesday.
Harrison’s magical season continued with possibly his best start to date. It was one strikeout off his season-high from last month, but was the first time he completed seven innings. He simply blitzed the Cubs with high fastball after high fastballs. That pitch forced 13 of his 19 total swings-and-misses, routinely sat around around 96 mph, and peaked at 98 mph. That is a slight velocity jump compared to his season averages and it beautifully set up his slurve. Funny enough, he only threw two total changeups, a pitch he’d used 17% of the time against right-handed batters heading into this start. It didn’t matter though as again, that fastball and slurve were more than enough. To this point in the season, his 1.77 ERA is the lowest in the National League and he has a 59:14 strikeout to walk ratio across 45 2/3 innings. We could have a league-winner on our hands, folks. Harrison is scheduled to face the Cardinals next time out.

Kyle Harrison struck out seven over five scoreless innings in a win over the Padres on Thursday.
Harrison walked none, but since he also didn’t manage any quick innings while giving up five hits, it took him 99 pitches to get his 15 outs. He allowed just two hard-hit balls. Harrison is now 4-1 with a 2.09 ERA. Between his tendency to run up his pitch count and the Brewers’ fondness for quick hooks, wins might yet be a problem going forward, even if they haven’t been so far. He’ll face the Cubs next.

Kyle Harrison allowed two runs over four innings and struck out six before being lifted Saturday against the Yankees.
Harrison walked four and threw 77 pitches to get 12 outs, so the Brewers decided to give the Yankees a different look in the fifth and turn to Chad Patrick. Thanks to a late comeback, Harrison avoided the loss after leaving down 2-0. He’s 3-1 with a 2.41 ERA, and he should be worth using against the Padres next week.

Kyle Harrison held the Nationals to one run while striking out five over six innings in a win on Saturday.
Harrison left the leadoff man stranded on base in each of the first three innings. The leadoff man would reach again in the fourth, and the Nats would finally break through with a base hit to score a run. He scattered three more hits over two more scoreless frames, ending his day after six with five strikeouts. The 24-year-old left-hander is having an excellent season so far, posting a 2.12 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and a 35/9 K/BB ratio across 29 2/3 innings. He’ll take on the Yankees in Milwaukee on Friday.

Kyle Harrison fanned 12 while allowing just one hit in six innings Sunday i the Brewers’ 5-0 shutout of the Pirates.
Trevor Megill, Aaron Ashby and Abner Uribe all struck out two in their innings of work, so it was an 18-strikeout, two-hitter for the Brewers. Harrison, who missed a turn 10 days ago and then got just nine outs Tuesday against the Pirates, induced 23 whiffs and allowed just two hard-hit balls in the best outing of his young career. He’s definitely worth rostering in mixed leagues and worth having active for his start against the Nationals next weekend.

Kyle Harrison, who missed one turn with knee and wrist issues, allowed one run in three-plus innings Tuesday against the Tigers.
Harrison gave up four hits, walked three and hit a batter, but it only amounted to one run. That came after he left with the bases loaded and none out in the fourth. Fortunately, Grant Anderson did a terrific job in stranding two of the runners then. Harrison struck out three, and his stuff seemed normal enough in spite of the multiple minor injuries. He’ll likely face the Pirates on Sunday.

Kyle Harrison will have next start pushed back due to a left wrist issue.
Harrison is expected to avoid a trip to the injured list, but he won’t take the ball on Friday against the Marlins. The 24-year-old southpaw will need some extra time off to rest and recover after suffering knee and wrist injuries during his previous outing against the Nationals over the weekend. The bigger concern here is the wrist on his pitching hand, but it doesn’t sound like an MRI revealed any fractures. No word yet on how Milwaukee plans to fill his spot.
