Kyle Stowers went 1-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI on Monday in a win over the Nationals.
Stowers and teammate Liam Hicks went deep against Nationals reliever Cole Henry in the ninth inning to give Miami a commanding four-run lead at the time. It was his first round-tripper since a two-homer explosion against Atlanta back on May 21. The 28-year-old corner outfielder is hitting just .221/.301/.379 with four homers, 13 RBI and one steal through 38 games this season.

Kyle Stowers went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Monday, propelling the Marlins to an 8-2 win over the Blue Jays.
Stowers provided a key insurance run for Miami with a run-scoring double to left field off Blue Jays rookie sensation Trey Yesavage with two outs in the sixth inning. The ball probably should’ve been caught by left fielder Yohendrick Piñango, but it wound up dropping for a pivotal hit. He brought home an additional run with a double down the left-field line in the eighth inning off reliever Tyler Rogers to cap off a multi-hit effort.

Kyle Stowers went 2-for-4 and belted a pair of solo home runs on Thursday night, but it wasn’t enough to power the Marlins past the visiting Braves.
Stowers tagged Braves’ right-hander Spencer Strider for a 371-foot (100.5 mph EV) solo shot in the fourth inning that pulled the Marlins to within a run at 3-2. He then replicated the feat after an eight-pitch battle in the seventh inning, launching a 382-foot (102.7 mph EV) solo shot that made it a 6-3 ballgame. Stowers struck out in each of his other two at-bats in the contest. For the season, the 28-year-old is slashing a disappointing .228/.328/.366 with three homers and eight RBI through his first 116 plate appearances.

Kyle Stowers went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI to lead the Marlins to an 8-7 win over the Nationals on Saturday.
Stowers broke out with his best game at the plate, starting with a double in the first inning. He then took Zack Littell deep for a two-run blast in the fourth for his first home run of the season. Stowers later added a single and a run scored in the eighth. The 28-year-old slugger is hitting .239/.320/.343 with one homer, ten runs scored, and three RBI across 75 plate appearances.
  • MIA 2nd Baseman #9
Xavier Edwards is hitting leadoff for the fourth time in the last five games on Saturday against the Nationals.
Edwards, who slugged his third round-tripper of the season during Friday’s series opener, seems to be Miami’s preferred top-of-the-order option with Otto Lopez, Liam Hicks and Kyle Stowers rounding out the heart of the order. The 26-year-old’s speed makes him an interesting leadoff option and should translate into a few extra stolen base opportunities moving forward.
  • MIA Catcher #34
Liam Hicks is starting at catcher and batting fifth on Wednesday against the Dodgers.
Hicks was a late scratch on Tuesday with an illness, but he will just miss one game and be back in the lineup. Agustin Ramirez is out of the lineup with Kyle Stowers at DH and Esteury Ruiz starting in left field and batting ninth.

Kyle Stowers is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Cardinals.
This seems like a routine day off for Stowers, who has played in all three games since coming off the injured list with a hamstring strain. Heriberto Hernandez will play left field and bat sixth.

Xavier Edwards is batting cleanup again on Tuesday against the Cardinals.
Sure, why not. It’s probably been a few years since Edwards hit cleanup at any sort of level, but he went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks and an RBI in his first shot there on Monday evening with Kyle Stowers hitting second. The 26-year-old speedster isn’t long for the heart of the order, but the Marlins don’t exactly have a ton of alternatives unless someone like Agustín Ramírez is going to heat up.

Kyle Stowers is starting in left field and batting second against the Cardinals on Monday.
Stowers made his season debut on Sunday and immediately got hit in the wrist with a 102 mph fastball. He was able to stay in the game and is right back out there on Monday, so fantasy managers and Marlins fans can breathe a sigh of relief. It’s a bit odd to see him hitting second with Xavier Edwards batting cleanup, but perhaps the Marlins are focused on getting Stowers as many at-bats as possible. If this does stick, it would meaningfully hurt Stowers’ potential RBI numbers this season.

Marlins activated 1B/OF Kyle Stowers from the 10-day injured list.
As expected, Stowers will make his 2026 season debut on Sunday against the Brewers. The 28-year-old slugger has been shelved since the end of spring training due to a hamstring strain. He went 3-for-17 (.176) over five games on a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Jacksonville. He should be rostered in all formats and fantasy managers shouldn’t hesitate to get him into lineups as soon as possible.
