    Rockies released RHP Kyle Wilcox.
Wilcox has yet to reach the majors after being drafted in the sixth round of the 2025 MLB Draft out of Bryant University in Rhode Island. The 29-year-old righty struggled in 16 relief appearances this season for Triple-A Albuquerque after signing a minor league contract last November.
  • COL 3rd Baseman #76
Rockies optioned INF Warming Bernabel to Double-A Hartford; reassigned INFs Connor Kaiser, Grant Lavigne and Ryan Ritter, OFs Benny Montgomery and Bladimir Restituyo, LHPs Carson Palmquist and Joe Rock and RHP Kyle Wilcox to minor league camp.
Bernabel was added to Colorado’s 40-man roster back in 2022 and will open the year back in the upper minors. The other notable names here are Kaiser and Wilcox, but that’s pretty much it from the first batch of cuts in Rockies camp.

Rockies signed RHP Kyle Wilcox to a minor league contract.
Wilcox compiled five saves to accompany a strong 2.62 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 72/35 K/BB ratio across 55 innings this past season between Double-A Mississippi and Triple-A Gwinnett in the Braves’ minor league system. The 29-year-old righty has yet to ascend to the majors, but it might finally happen with the pitching-challenged Rockies during the 2024 campaign.

Braves signed RHP Kyle Wilcox to a minor league contract.
Wilcox last appeared in the minor leagues with the Mariners back in 2019 and has yet to make it past Double-A in his career. The 27-year-old righty reliever was a sixth-round pick out of Bryant University in Rhode Island back in 2015. He’ll serve as organizational relief depth for the Braves this season.
