    Max Muncy went 1-for-3 with a homer and two RBI on Thursday evening as the Dodgers triumphed over the Reds in their Cactus League showdown.
    Muncy reached on a fielder’s choice in the opening inning and scored on Santiago Espinal’s two-run double. He then tagged Reds’ starter Nick Lodolo for a 395-foot (106.9 mph EV) two-run shot in the third inning that increased the Dodgers’ lead to 6-3. The 35-year-old slugger has been sizzling as the dish, hitting .333 (7-for-21) with a pair of homers and four RBI in Cactus League play.

    Max Muncy went 2-for-3 with a run scored as the Dodgers eked out a 4-3 victory over the Brewers in Cactus League play on Monday.
    Muncy singled off of left-hander Aaron Ashby in the opening inning and advanced to third on a knock by Nick Senzel, but he was left stranded there. He then smacked a two-out single in the third inning and scored the Dodgers’ first run on an RBI single off the bat of Dalton Rushing. He’s having a strong spring, hitting .375 (6-for-16) with a homer and two RBI.

    Dodgers signed INF Max Muncy to a one-year, $10 million contract extension.
    The deal will pay Muncy $7 million for the 2027 season and includes a $10 million club option for the 2028 season with a $3 million buyout. The 35-year-old slugger slashed .243/.376/.470 with 19 homers and 67 RBI in just 100 games for the Dodgers during the 2025 campaign.

    The Dodgers have exercised Max Muncy’s $10 million option for 2026.
    Muncy let the Dodgers tack this option on to his two-year, $24 million deal even though it’s a cut in pay and didn’t include a buyout. Still, he’s always seemed just happy to be there. The 35-year-old hit .243/.376/.470 in 100 games last season.

    Max Muncy went 3-for-4 and clobbered his third home run of the postseason on Saturday as the Dodgers rallied to beat the Blue Jays in Game 7 of the World Series.
    Muncy drew a walk off of Max Scherzer in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth, but the Dodgers were unable to cash him in either time. He then tagged right-hander Trey Yesavage for a 373-foot (102.2 mph EV) solo shot in the eighth inning that pulled the Dodgers to within a run at 4-3. Muncy also singled in the 10th inning to put two men on with one out, but the Dodgers were unable to push a run across. He finished the postseason hitting .214/.353/.411 with three homers and three RBI in 56 at-bats.

    Mookie Betts is batting cleanup for Game 7 of the World Series against the Blue Jays on Saturday.
    Dodgers manager Dave Roberts will stick with Betts in the cleanup spot for the winner-take-all affair in Toronto after he delivered a two-run single in Game 6 to help Los Angeles keep their season alive.     Muncy’s ninth-inning double against Blue Jays reliever Louis Varland represented Los Angeles’ lone extra-base hit of the night. The Dodgers went 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and managed just two runs on six hits in the loss.
