Patrick Corbin allowed three runs in 4 1/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Rays on Tuesday.
Corbin gave up nine hits, walked one and struck out one. The 36-year-old left-hander allowed a double to Ryan Vilade to start the fifth inning, got the next batter and then was removed from the ballgame. Corbin has a 3.93 ERA entering his next start against the Tigers on Sunday.

Patrick Corbin allowed two runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings in a loss to the Rays on Wednesday.
Corbin walked two and struck out one, but posted just a three percent swinging strike rate and an 18 percent CSW in this one. He got to two strikes on just 23 percent of the hitters he faced, which is almost half of his season-long rate. With that said, it was great news that he was able to avoid more damage being done on all the contact he allowed. He’ll face these same Rays at home next week.

Patrick Corbin allowed six hits and two runs with one walk and four strikeouts across 5 1/3 innings in a win over the Twins on Friday.
It’s borderline surreal to watch Corbin out there reinventing himself and pitching better than he has in years. In this start, he threw his changeup 27% of the time, nearly twice as often as he has in any other start this season. It was a wrinkle the nearly all right-handed Twins’ lineup didn’t appear to expect and it helped him keep them off-balance for most of this game. Somehow, he’ll take a 3.65 ERA into his next scheduled start against the Rays down in Tampa Bay.

Patrick Corbin received a no-decision on Sunday against the Guardians, allowed two runs on six hits over 4 2/3 frames.
Corbin struck out four and walked two in the 84-pitch effort, which the Jays went on to win 4-2. The veteran left-hander nearly got through five innings of one-run ball before giving up an RBI double to Angel Martínez that ended his day. Corbin has now made four starts for Toronto since debuting with the club on April 10. His next start lines up for a road tilt in Minnesota.
  • TOR Starting Pitcher #39
Trey Yesavage (shoulder) will be activated to make his season debut against the Red Sox on Tuesday.
Blue Jays skipper John Schneider made it official that Yesavage will return to Toronto’s injury-decimated rotation with Eric Lauer going to the bullpen. The other ripple effect is Dylan Cease being pushed back to Monday with Patrick Corbin starting Sunday against Cleveland. The 22-year-old top pitching prospect is unlikely to shoulder a significant workload early on, but he still offers enough strikeout upside to warrant a roster spot in all fantasy formats.

Patrick Corbin allowed one run with three strikeouts over five innings in a no-decision against the Angels on Tuesday.
Corbin was solid again for the Blue Jays on Tuesday. He had allowed just one baserunner through four scoreless innings before the Angels brought a run in on two hits and a sacrifice fly in the fifth. Corbin’s day would be done after five at 65 pitches. He struck out three. The 36-year-old left-hander has been solid for Toronto, posting a 3.68 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and a 12/4 K/BB ratio across 14 2/3 innings. Corbin could get one more start before Trey Yesavage is activated to take his spot in the rotation. Another start would come on Monday in Toronto against the Red Sox.

Patrick Corbin threw 5 2/3 innings of four-hit ball against the Brewers, allowing just one run and striking out six on Thursday.
It was as good as you could have expected firing up Corbin against one of baseball’s best offenses, but Corbin got a no-decision for his efforts filling in for Toronto’s injuries in the rotation. He’s slated to face the Angels next week. There’s no reason to recommend starting him, but Corbin’s done a nice job of turning around his career and becoming a reliable low-end starter over the past few seasons.
  • TOR Starting Pitcher #46
Patrick Corbin allowed four earned runs over four innings while striking out three in Friday’s win over the Twins.
Corbin ran into trouble two batters into the game. Back-to-back singles allowed to Austin Martin and Luke Keaschall put two runners on with only one out. After retiring Josh Bell to get the second out, Corbin allowed a three-run homer to Ryan Jeffers to give the Twins an early 3-0 lead. Despite the rough start, Corbin would settle in to allow just one run over the next three innings before turning things over to Tommy Nance to start the fifth inning. Corbin struggled with his control at times, hitting two batters in this one after hitting just three all of last season, but his 63.4 percent strike rate is an acceptable mark for the veteran lefty. Assuming he gets the nod for the next start, Corbin will be set up to go on Thursday against the Brewers.

Blue Jays selected the contract of LHP Patrick Corbin from Low-A Dunedin.
Corbin fortifies Toronto’s razor-thin pitching depth heading into Tuesday’s showdown against the Dodgers at the Rogers Centre. The 36-year-old veteran southpaw signed a one-year pact earlier this month after the Blue Jays lost Cody Ponce to a potentially season-ending knee injury. He’ll operate in a swingman-type long relief role out of the bullpen, but could also take the ball as a traditional starter, if needed. He’s not a recommended fantasy option either way.

Patrick Corbin threw five innings and struck out nine for Low-A Dunedin on Sunday.
Corbin threw 74 pitches, with 53 of them landing for strikes. He reportedly averaged 91.2 mph with his sinker, which is right around what he was at wit the offering in 2025. It’s possible Corbin will make one more minor league start, but with Toronto needing help in the rotation, that next outing could come with the Blue Jays.
