Peter Lambert fell to 2-4 on Sunday against the Rangers, giving up five runs on three hits over six innings pitched.
Lambert struck out six and walked two in the outing. He had allowed just two runs through six frames but left with the bases loaded in the seventh, and all three inherited runners came around to score. It was an encouraging game until then, and Lambert will carry a 3.57 ERA into his next start, scheduled for on the road in Wrigley Field against the Cubs.
