Reid-Foley, 29, was let go by the Mets last week after a poor two months in Triple-A. He has a 4.10 ERA in 131 2/3 innings as a major leaguer dating back to 2018, but he’s struggled with injuries for much of his career.

Reid-Foley has been sent packing after struggling to a calamitous 8.22 ERA across 14 innings (15 appearances) this season for Triple-A Syracuse. The 29-year-old righty posted a solid 1.66 ERA across 21 2/3 innings (23 appearances) last year for the Mets before suffering a shoulder impingement that cost him the final three months of the year.

Meneses, 32, was brought in as a non-roster invite, and won’t be a part of the Mets to open the 2025 campaign. Gose and Reid-Foley are both non-roster invitees as well who will need to be added to the 40-man roster to pitch for New York this summer.

The 29-year-old hurler had been placed on outright waivers earlier in the week, but he passed through without being claimed. Assuming that he accepts the assignment, he’ll continue to function as extra rotation depth for the Mets at the Triple-A level.

Reid-Foley will be officially released if he clears outright waivers. The 29-year-old right-hander missed the final three-plus months of last year with a shoulder impingement. He’s been officially removed from New York’s 40-man roster and should be able to latch on somewhere else in the coming days.

Reid-Foley had a 1.66 ERA in 23 relief appearances before missing the final 3 1/2 months of last season with a shoulder impingement. The 29-year-old has pitched in parts of seven big-league seasons, but in part because of injuries, he’s totaled just 131 2/3 innings.

The procedural move opened up a spot on New York’s 40-man roster for the club to claim outfielder José Azocar off waivers from the Padres. The 29-year-old righty has been out since mid-June due to a right shoulder impingement.

Reid-Foley has been out since mid-June recovering from a right shoulder impingement, but figures to be ready to rejoin New York’s bullpen mix by early August.

The 28-year-old right-hander has been shelved since the middle of June after suffering a recurrence of his right shoulder impingement. Mets’ skipper Carlos Mendoza told reporters on Friday that Reid-Foley is heading in the right direction and they’re hopeful that he could be an option to return to the team’s bullpen shortly after the All-Star break.

The 28-year-old righty holds a strong 1.66 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 25/14 K/BB ratio across 21 2/3 innings (23 appearances) since making his season debut back in late April.
