Miguel Rojas will start at second base and bat ninth for the Dodgers on Opening Day against the Diamondbacks.
Throughout the spring, the second base position had been framed as a platoon situation between Santiago Espinal and Alex Freeland, so naturally it’s Rojas who gets the start there on Opening Day. It’s likely just manager Dave Roberts respecting and giving the nod to the 37-year-old veteran for Opening Day. Here’s the full lineup against Zac Gallen on Opening Day: Shohei Ohtani (DH), Kyle Tucker (RF), Mookie Betts (SS), Freddie Freeman (1B), Will Smith (C), Max Muncy (3B), Teoscar Hernandez (LF), Andy Pages (CF) and Miguel Rojas (2B).

Teoscar Hernández clubbed a three-run homer on Monday against the Brewers.
Hernández took Brewers starter Chad Patrick deep for an impressive 414-foot blast in the third inning. It was his third big fly of the spring. The 33-year-old corner outfielder’s plate skills slipped last year in his second season with the Dodgers, but he still provided his usual power and counting stats mix with 25 homers and 89 RBI in 134 games. It might be unrealistic to project a return to near-elite production but his spot in one of the best lineups in recent memory gives him an extremely high fantasy floor as a three-category contributor with a respectable batting average.

Teoscar Hernández went 2-for-3 with a homer, double and three RBI on Thursday as the Dodgers knocked off the Reds 9-5 in Cactus League action.
Hernández started the scoring in the home half of the first, smacking an RBI double off of Nick Lodolo. He then came around to score on Freddie Freeman’s run-scoring double. He followed that up by clobbering a 379-foot (101.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Tejay Antone in the fifth that made it an 8-3 ballgame. The 33-year-old outfielder has been on another level this spring, hitting .464 (13-for-28) with a homer and eight RBI.

Teoscar Hernández went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI on Friday evening as the Dodgers topped the Royals 6-0.
Hernández smacked an RBI double off of Mitch Spence in the first inning that extended the Dodgers’ early advantage to 3-0. He also drove home Ryan Ward with an RBI single in the fourth that capped off the scoring in the ballgame. He has been sizzling at the plate to start the spring, slashing .476/.500/.571 with four RBI and a 4/1 K/BB ratio through his first eight games.

Teoscar Hernández went 3-for-3 and drove in three runs in a rout of the Angels on Saturday.
Amazingly, the Dodgers put up 15 runs without hitting the ball out of the park. Hernández scored 20 percent of those runs while doubling and singling twice. The 33-year-old wasn’t great in 2026 and was the subject of trade rumors, but he’s an excellent bounceback candidate in the loaded Dodgers’ offense in 2026.

Sources told The Athletic that Teoscar Hernández’s name is coming up in trade conversations.
Hernández wouldn’t seem to be in great demand after performing as just a league-average hitter in the first year of a three-year, $66 million deal, but since that contract included a $23 million signing bonus, it’s pretty friendly going forward; he’s owed $33 million for two years or $41.5 million for three, with $16 million of that being deferred for six years. He wouldn’t be a bad pickup at that price, especially for a team that could give him some DH time. Still, it seems likely that the Dodgers will keep him unless they add a big name to their outfield.

Mookie Betts is batting cleanup for Game 7 of the World Series against the Blue Jays on Saturday.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts will stick with Betts in the cleanup spot for the winner-take-all affair in Toronto after he delivered a two-run single in Game 6 to help Los Angeles keep their season alive. Here’s the full lineup as the Dodgers attempt to repeat as World Series champions: Shohei Ohtani (P/DH), Will Smith (C), Freddie Freeman (1B), Betts (SS), Max Muncy (3B), Teoscar Hernández (RF), Tommy Edman (CF), Enrique Hernández (LF) and Miguel Rojas (2B).

Mookie Betts will move down to the cleanup spot in the Dodgers’ lineup for Game 6 of the World Series against the Blue Jays on Friday night.
With their backs up against the wall and looking to stave off elimination, Dodgers’ skipper Dave Roberts has opted to shake up his lineup a bit. Miguel Rojas will start at second base while Tommy Edman will move out to center field. Here’s the full lineup that the Dodgers will send out against Jays’ right-hander Kevin Gausman: Shohei Ohtani (DH), Will Smith (C), Freddie Freeman (1B), Betts (SS), Teoscar Hernández (RF), Max Muncy (3B), Kiké Hernandez (LF), Tommy Edman (CF) and Miguel Rojas (2B).

Teoscar Hernández is starting in right field and batting fifth on Tuesday in Game 4 of the World Series against the Blue Jays.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has flip-flopped Hernández, who snapped out of an early-series slump with a four-hit effort during Monday’s Game 3 extra-inning marathon, and Max Muncy on his lineup card as they prepare to face Blue Jays veteran Shane Bieber on Tuesday night in Los Angeles. The only other note here is that the Dodgers continue sticking with Andy Pages in center field despite the fact he’s batting .083 this postseason. Here’s the full lineup: Shohei Ohtani (DH), Mookie Betts (SS), Freddie Freeman (1B), Will Smtih (C), Hernández (RF), Muncy (3B), Tommy Edman (2B), Enrique Hernandez (LF) and Pages (CF).

Teoscar Hernández went 4-for-8 with a solo homer in Monday’s Game 3 extra-inning marathon win over the Blue Jays.
Hernández put Los Angeles ahead in the second inning when he connected on a hanging slider from Blue Jays starter Max Scherzer, sending a majestic 412-foot blast down the left field line. It was a much-needed big fly for the veteran slugger after going 0-for-7 with five strikeouts in the first two contests of the Fall Classic. He also made an incredible throw in the 10th inning to cut down Davis Schneider at home plate to keep the contest tied.
