Tristan Beck hurled a scoreless ninth to get the save Wednesday against the Cardinals.
Beck threw just 11 pitches while picking up the save, with eight of those counting for strikes. The 29-year-old has saved two games in 2025, and could be a high-leverage option for San Francisco next year if they deploy him from the bullpen.

Tristan Beck allowed three runs with one strikeout over three innings in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
Beck got the spot start for the Giants in Arizona and opened with a scoreless frame before giving up three run in the second inning, including a two-run homer by Adrian Del Castillo. Beck tossed a scoreless third and ended his day at 42 pitches with one strikeout. The 29-year-old right-hander has recorded a 5.12 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and a 37/14 K/BB ratio across 51 innings. He’ll likely revert back to the bullpen with Carson Whisenhunt (back) set to return from the injured list.

Tristan Beck will be the starting pitcher for the Giants on Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.
This will likely be a bullpen game for the Giants since has thrown over four innings just once this season. The Giants will hope that he can give them at least three innings in a game they need to win to keep pace with the Mets for the final wildcard spot.

Carson Seymour allowed four runs over three innings and took a loss to the Orioles on Saturday.
Tristan Beck followed Seymour and was not better; also giving up four runs over 3 2/3 innings. Seymour gave up a pair of homers; a two-run homer to Jeremiah Jackson and another two-run shot by Ryan Mountcastle, and he walked two against two strikeouts. Seymour could work in tandem with Beck again next week against the Rockies. No thanks.

Giants recalled RHP Tristan Beck from Triple-A Sacramento.
With Landen Roupp (elbow) heading to the injured list on Friday, Beck will return to provide a fresh arm to the Giants’ bullpen while they figure out how to navigate their rotation going forward. Beck has posted a 5.68 ERA across 19 innings with the Giants this season.

Giants optioned RHP Tristan Beck to Triple-A Sacramento.
Because he wasn’t going to be available to pitch tonight, Beck loses his spot despite having pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings since the All-Star break. He has a 5.68 ERA overall in 19 innings this season, though half of the runs he allowed came in one outing in a game the Giants weren’t winning anyway.

Giants recalled RHP Tristan Beck from Triple-A Sacramento.
Beck was in Triple-A for a little over two weeks and now returns as a bullpen arm for the playoff-contending Giants. The 29-year-old will replace Mason Black on the active roster.

Giants optioned RHP Tristan Beck to Triple-A Sacramento.
Beck draws the short straw amid a roster crunch in San Francisco with future Hall of Fame starter Justin Verlander returning from the injured list ahead of Wednesday’s showdown against the Guardians. The 28-year-old righty has made six relief appearances this season in the big leagues.

Giants recalled RHP Tristan Beck rom Triple-A Sacramento.
Beck will have a chance to make his 2025 debut if/when he gets into a game for the Giants. The 28-year-old will likely be a multi-inning option while he’s with San Francisco.

Giants optioned RHP Tristan Beck and INF/OF Wade Meckler to Triple-A Sacramento and reassigned C Logan Porter, LHP Enny Romero and INF Mike Lamb to minor league camp.
No real surprises here. Beck has a chance to make starts for the Giants in 2025, but was never going to make the Opening Day rotation. Meckler will likely be a bench option at some point this summer for San Francisco.
