Blue Jays acquired INF Tyler Keenan from the Mariners in exchange for LHP Ryan Borucki.
Keenan is a third baseman who was drafted in the fourth round by Seattle in 2020, and he had posted a .740 OPS with three homers with High-A Everett in 92 at-bats. Not a bad return for someone the Blue Jays decided they no longer wanted on the roster in Borucki, but he’s not likely to be more than depth.
