Mohamed Massaquoi (hamstring) was limited in Browns practice on Wednesday.
Cleveland’s No. 1 receiver wasn’t previously known to he hurt. His 77 receiving yards led the Browns in their Week 1 loss to the Bengals. As long as he’s able to put in a full practice on Thursday or Friday, he should be able to suit up on Sunday against the Colts.

Mohamed Massaquoi caught two passes for 26 yards with a touchdown in Sunday’s win over the Dolphins.
Massaquoi’s ankle did not appear to be a concern, but he was extremely quiet most of the day. However, he did show up big when it counted most, going over Jimmy Wilson to catch a game-winning 14-yard jump ball to win the game with 43 seconds left. Fantasy owners should note that Massaquoi has a total of eight catches through three games.

Mohamed Massaquoi (ankle) was limited again on Thursday.
The limited practices have become customary for Massaquoi. He’s fully expected to play Sunday against the Titans, though shadow corner Cortland Finnegan has been playing at a high level this season.

Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 4.
The Browns often list Massaquoi as questionable even when he’s fully expected to play. He’s very likely to be available against Tennessee’s No. 2 pass defense. In three games so far, Massaquoi is averaging 49.3 yards per week.

Mohamed Massaquoi (shoulder) participated in Browns practice Monday.
Massaquoi picked up a shoulder sprain in Week 4, but he had the whole bye week to heal up. He’ll almost certainly be a full go for next week’s game against the Raiders. Massaquoi is averaging 3.5 catches for 48.5 yards with one touchdown through four games.

Browns president Mike Holmgren expects WR Mohamed Massaquoi to have “a little bit of a breakout year” in 2012.
The team’s brass has been borderline delusional about its wide receivers for a while, predicting a breakout for the since-released Brian Robiskie last offseason. Massaquoi hasn’t been the same player since taking a blow to the head from Steelers LB James Harrison in October of 2010.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Browns coach Pat Shurmur indicated that the team is counting on upgraded quarterback play to spark the team’s receiver corps.
This can work if the rookie quarterback is effective immediately, and the Browns seem to think Brandon Weeden will be. “An outstanding quarterback brings synergy to the whole team,” Shurmur said. "... If a quarterback that throws the ball accurately, on time, it makes the receivers looks good.” The Browns drafted just one receiver -- fourth-round track guy Travis Benjamin.

Mohamed Massaquoi (concussion) was sent home from practice once again Wednesday.
As expected. The Browns have already ruled out Peyton Hillis (hamstring) and Montario Hardesty (calf). It’s only a matter of time before they do the same on Massaquoi. Josh Cribbs will start opposite Greg Little against the Rams.

Mohamed Massaquoi (concussion) was sent home from practice once again Thursday.
Massaquoi isn’t going to play against the Rams. Look for Josh Cribbs to start opposite Greg Little.

Mohamed Massaquoi (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Massaquoi practiced Thursday and Friday after sitting out on Wednesday. He is fully expected to play against the Ravens, but will not be a fantasy option.
