NEW BERLIN, New York: Jett Lawrence posted identical times of 2:12.122 in both qualification sessions to become the fastest overall qualifier for the Unadilla 450 National. Jett needs to gain points on his brother Hunter Lawrence in the majority of the final six motos if he wants to defend his 2025 Pro Motocross championship.
That will not be an easy task as Hunter (2:12.586) is in the midst of a career-best season. Hunter is coming off back-to-back overall wins at Spring Creek and Washougal. He was second on the chart.
Jorge Prado (2:12.842) is staking his claim to be the third best Motocross racer of 2026 with the third-best time in combined qualification. His time was .131 seconds faster than the rookie Haiden Deegan.
Deegan was fourth on the chart. He was the fastest qualifier in the most recent round in Washougal and he earned his first career holeshot there.
Justin Cooper (2:12.973) returned from injury this week and landed fifth on the chart.
In his second Pro Motocross start, Australian Jed Beaton (2:14.867) was sixth fastest. He finished 13th in Washougal’s first moto.
