Grandstand seating and camping spots are sold out for the Feb. 18 Daytona 500, Daytona International Speedway has announced.
The season-opening race has sold out for the ninth consecutive season. This is the earliest the Daytona 500 has sold out in NASCAR’s Modern Era. Limited Fanzone and hospitality packages are still available for fans to purchase.
“Our fans continue to impress year after year, but the rate at which the 2024 Daytona 500 has sold out is a true testament to what this race represents,” said Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher.
“It’s anticipation that builds throughout the year and into the offseason, then all comes together for a week of pure entertainment, competition and this passionate feeling you don’t get anywhere else but The World Center of Racing. We can’t wait to have a full house of race fans for the NASCAR season opener.”
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won last season’s Daytona 500 over Joey Logano in double overtime. The Daytona 500 produced 52 lead changes, the fourth-most in the history of the Great American Race. Only 2011 (74 lead changes), 1974 (60) and 1983 (58) had more.
