Andrew Wiggins recorded 31 points (10-of-15 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, three steals and two three-pointers in Saturday’s loss to the Pistons.
After shooting 4-of-11 from the field in his first game back from a hip injury, Wiggins looked much sharper on Saturday. Shooting nearly 67 percent from the field, he recorded his first 30-point game of the season, and there was also value to be had in the rebound, assist and steals categories. With Tyler Herro and Norman Powell in the fold, Wiggins’ rest-of-season fantasy value may take a hit. However, he’s still providing top-100 value, so managers in 12-team leagues should look to sell high if possible. The Heat play four games in Week 7, starting with the Clippers on Monday.
  • MIA Guard #24
Davion Mitchell, Tyler Herro, Norman Powell, Andrew Wiggins and Bam Adebayo will start Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.
With Powell and Wiggins returning from injury, the Heat have made two changes to their starting lineup. Pelle Larsson and Kel’el Ware head to the bench. While both will remain in the rotation, Ware is the one who should continue to be rostered in 12-team leagues. Wiggins is back after a three-game absence, so it’s possible that he doesn’t play full starters’ minutes on Wednesday.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (hip) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.
Wiggins is back after missing the last three games with a left hip flexor injury. He’ll likely be in the starting lineup, with Kel’el Ware moving to the bench. Ware will get the minutes needed to provide solid fantasy value, so do not even consider dropping him.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (hip) and Nikola Jović (hip) are probable for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.
Given how things are trending, the Heat should be as close to full strength as they’ve been this season for the final game before Thanksgiving. Wiggins has missed the last three games, opening up a spot in the starting lineup for Kel’el Ware. The second-year center will likely be bumped to the bench if Wiggins plays. As for Jović, he’ll provide additional depth off the bench but is unlikely to impact fantasy basketball in that role.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (hip) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks.
Wiggins has missed the last three games with a left hip flexor injury. If he remains out against the Bucks on Wednesday, Kel’el Ware will continue to start. If Wiggins is back, the Heat could be at full strength for the first time this season with Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, Wiggins and likely Norman Powell (groin) in the starting lineup.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (hip) is out for Monday’s game against the Mavericks.
Wiggins is set to miss his third consecutive game with a left hip flexor injury. The 30-year-old forward’s absence will likely lead to another start for Kel’el Ware, who has already started 13 games this season. Ware should be rostered in most formats at this point.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (hip) is out for Sunday’s game against the 76ers.
Wiggins missed Friday’s game against the Bulls with Kel’el Ware moving into the starting lineup. The 30-year-old small forward is dealing with a left hip flexor injury. Wiggins’ absence is likely more good news for fantasy managers that have Ware, who should continue to start.
  • MIA Center #7
Davion Mitchell, Norman Powell, Pelle Larsson, Bam Adebayo and Kel’el Ware will start Friday’s game against the Bulls.
The Heat are without Andrew Wiggins for Friday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Ware will fill the void, making his 12th start of the season. While the effort can wane at times, the second-year center should be rostered in most 12-team leagues.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (hip) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Bulls.
It’s been reported that Wiggins’ injury won’t linger, so there’s a chance he’s back on Sunday against the 76ers. With Tyler Herro (ankle) also not returning until Monday, that should mean continued high usage for Jaime Jaquez Jr. and extra minutes for Simone Fontecchio and maybe Pelle Larsson as well.
  • MIA Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins amassed 17 points (7-of-13 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two three-pointers in the loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
One game after securing a game-winning dunk, Wiggins logged another efficient scoring performance in the rematch against the Cavaliers. He had similar shooting efficiency and production from the three-point line in both games, but lacked the free-throw volume this time around. The veteran wing had one of his better rebounding performances of the season on Wednesday while also notching a season-high in assists along the way. Overall, he finished with solid numbers from a fantasy basketball standpoint.
