Noah Clowney (back) is available for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans.
Clowney is officially good to go after initially being listed as probable. He’s scored at least 20 points in two straight games, and the matchup lends itself toward Clowney extending that streak to three. Those who have him rostered must ensure he’s in their lineups.

Noah Clowney (back) is probable to play against the Pelicans on Saturday.
Clowney is expected to suit up, though he is dealing with back soreness. He has scored at least 20 points in two straight games and will look to stay hot against a porous Pelicans defense.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney finished Thursday’s loss to the Jazz with 29 points (8-of-15 FGs, 10-of-12 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and three three-pointers.
While his season-long fantasy value remains relatively low, now would be a good time to hop onto the Clowney bandwagon if he’s sitting on your league’s waiver wire. Over the past two weeks, the Nets forward/center has provided fourth-round value in eight-cat formats, and he’s scored at least 16 points in seven of his last eight games. Clowney is rostered in 30 percent of Yahoo! leagues, so he’s certainly available in some 12-team formats. Now would be a good time to change that.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney had 20 points (6-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists and six three-pointers against the Bulls on Wednesday.
Clowney had at least six three-pointers for the second time in his last five games. The 21-year-old power forward hasn’t shown enough consistency as a scorer yet and doesn’t contribute much in the other categories. Still, Clowney can be an option in deeper formats because of his flashes of excellence and secure playing time.

Noah Clowney amassed 18 points (6-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Hornets.
After ripping off a streak of eight straight games in double figures, Clowney put up a dud in Saturday’s loss to the Bucks. He got back on track on Monday, shooting 66.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc in Brooklyn’s win over the Hornets. While he remains ranked outside the top-200 in nine-cat formats, Clowney’s status as a starter makes him worth a look in deeper leagues. And that should remain the case throughout the season.
  • BKN Forward #17
Michael Porter Jr. (back) and Noah Clowney (hip) are available for Monday’s matchup with the Hornets.
Both players were listed as probable on Sunday evening, so their availability is not surprising. MPJ will be back following a two-game absence which will erase Ziaire Williams’ streaming value. Clowney has yet to miss a game this season, and he should retain his usual spot in Brooklyn’s starting five.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney (hip) is probable to play against the Hornets on Monday.
Clowney should be good to go and will occupy his typical spot in the starting lineup. He has been starting for most of November, but he has stepped up recently, averaging 17.8 points, 1.3 blocks and 3.0 triples over the past two weeks.

Noah Clowney finished Friday’s loss to the 76ers with 16 points (4-of-14 Fgs, 6-of-7 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers.
The bad news for fantasy managers who have Clowney rostered is that he shot the ball poorly on Friday. The good news is that he recorded a complete stat line, which is good for the overall value in category leagues. For the season, the third-year forward remains ranked just outside the top-200 in nine-cat formats, due mainly to his low field-goal percentage. However, Clowney has been a sixth-round player over the past two weeks. Despite Friday’s poor shooting, he’s trending in the right direction.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney shot 9-of-17 from the field and 6-of-6 from the foul line in Monday’s loss to the Knicks, scoring 31 points with four rebounds, three assists and seven three-pointers.
Clowney didn’t record any defensive stats in Monday’s defeat, but the third-year forward/center had the best offensive night of his NBA career. Not only did Clowney record career-highs in points and three-pointers, but he also finished with his first 30-point game. While his season-long value places him just outside the top-200 in nine-cat formats, Clowney has been close to a top-50 player over the last two weeks. Rostered in 20 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he’s worth a look in more 14-team leagues due to the Nets’ status as a rebuilding team.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Noah Clowney matched a season-high with 19 points (7-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, one steal and three blocks over 37 minutes in Friday’s win over the Celtics.
It doesn’t totally show up on the stat sheet, but Clowney was a real X-factor in this contest as he relentlessly attacked the rim early on, finishing the first half with 14 points while also blocking three shots on the defensive end of the floor. He cooled off a bit in the second half but led the Nets in minutes over the final two quarters. He would’ve had an even bigger night offensively had he not gone ice-cold from three-point range, hitting just three of 11 attempts from distance.
