Nolan Traore (rest) has been ruled out against the Warriors on Wednesday.
With Traore sidelined, fellow rookie Ben Saraf should get the starting nod at point guard. Saraf has been a solid source of points, assists and steals lately, and he should be productive in an increased role. However, he is too inefficient to be worth rostering in category leagues.
  • BKN Guard-Forward #14
According to Nets reporter Erik Slater, Terance Mann (rest) and Drake Powell (knee) are out for Monday’s matchup with the Trail Blazers.
Brooklyn lists a whopping seven players as out tonight, as the Nets speed toward a top pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. With Mann and Powell out, more minutes should be available for Nolan Traoré, Ziaire Williams, Ben Saraf and Ochai Agbaji.
  • BKN Guard #88
Nolan Traoré accounted for 17 points (6-of-12 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Sunday’s loss to the Kings.
Traoré has scored in double figures in three straight games, with the 17 points in Sacramento being the most in a game for him since March 1. Just as important for the rookie point guard was the turnover count. After rolling up ten in losses to the Warriors and Knicks, Traoré was responsible for just two on Sunday. As long as he’s healthy, Traoré should have every opportunity to run the team. He isn’t a must-add, but the rookie is worth considering in deep leagues, especially with the Nets playing four games in Week 22.
  • BKN Guard #77
Ben Saraf (foot) is probable to play against the Knicks on Friday.
Saraf missed Wednesday’s game against Oklahoma City, but he should be available to take on New York. He’ll likely fill out his typical role as the backup to Nolan Traoré, though Saraf has played more minutes than Traoré as of late.
  • BKN Guard #88
Nolan Traoré accounted for 13 points (4-of-14 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, six assists, one steal, two blocks and two three-pointers in Wednesday’s loss to the Thunder.
Traoré wasn’t the most efficient player on Wednesday, an unsurprising development for a rookie point guard facing the reigning champs. However, the six assists and three defensive contributions were positives for the Nets guard. With Egor Dëmin (foot) done for the season, Traoré’s development is likely to be one of the points of emphasis for the Nets during the final weeks of the season. If he can improve his efficiency, there may be some value for deep-league managers.
  • BKN Guard #77
Ben Saraf (foot) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Thunder.
Initially questionable for Wednesday’s game, Saraf is now out. Nolan Traoré, whose minutes have decreased recently despite being in the starting lineup, may be asked to play more on Wednesday, which would give him a little more value in fantasy leagues. Malachi Smith should slot in as the backup point guard.
  • BKN Guard #77
Ben Saraf (foot) is questionable to play against the Thunder on Wednesday.
Saraf has taken on extra minutes off the bench recently and has played more than fellow rookie Nolan Traoré, despite Traoré starting. If Saraf is unavailable, Traoré should take on extra minutes, with Malachi Smith filling out the backup point guard role.
  • BKN Guard #88
Nolan Traoré (eye) is probable to play against the Thunder on Wednesday.
Traoré is dealing with an eye abrasion, but that shouldn’t keep him from suiting up against OKC. He hasn’t come off the bench in a game since January, but his minutes have dwindled recently. A matchup with this Thunder defense won’t make things easier for the rookie.
  • BKN Guard #77
Ben Saraf finished Monday’s loss to the Trail Blazers with 15 points (5-of-10 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), four assists and four steals.
While he wasn’t in the starting lineup for Monday’s game, Saraf played more minutes than fellow rookie and starting point guard Nolan Traoré. Saraf played 23 minutes, finishing with a line that included a season-high four steals, while Traoré (four points, one rebound, one assist and one steal) struggled in 16 minutes of action. With Egor Dëmin (foot) done for the season, Saraf and Traoré will have their opportunities to impress.
  • BKN Guard #77
Ben Saraf (calf) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Despite backing up Nolan Traoré, Saraf played 31 minutes off the bench in Saturday’s loss to the 76ers. If Saraf doesn’t play on Monday, the Nets can play Traoré for more than the 17 minutes he logged on Saturday, with Tyson Etienne possibly getting some backup point guard reps.
