    Browns waived WR Anthony Schwartz.
The former third-round pick struggled through injuries and costly drops during his time in Cleveland and will now look for a new place to call home. Schwartz has 25 career appearances including three starts, putting up 14 receptions for 186 yards and one touchdown during that span.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #10
Browns placed WR Anthony Schwartz (hamstring) on the active/NFI list.
The injury comes at a bad time for the 2021 third-rounder with Schwartz on the roster bubble. The Browns also opened their preseason with WR Marquise Goodwin (illness) on the NFI list.
  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
The Athletic’s Zac Jackson writes he doesn’t see WRs Anthony Schwartz or David Bell making the Browns.
This has been foreshadowed with the Browns adding Marquise Goodwin and Cedric Tillman, along with Elijah Moore, this offseason. Cleveland was clearly unhappy with its wideout depth. Schwartz has 14 receptions in two seasons and has missed time to concussions and knee injuries. He doesn’t have to be rostered in deep dynasty leagues.

  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Browns placed Anthony Schwartz (concussion) on injured reserve.
The team was awarded Jaelon Darden off waivers, prompting them to put Schwartz on injured reserve to get an extra roster spot. Darden was waived by the Bucs earlier this week. He will likely take over Schwartz’s role on special teams.

  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Anthony Schwartz (concussion) did not practice Wednesday.
Schwartz went down with the concussion in Week 13 and was unable to return. His absence could mean a few more snaps for rookie receiver David Bell, though it won’t change Bell’s fantasy outlook much.

  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Anthony Schwartz (concussion evaluation) left Cleveland’s Week 13 game against the Texans and is questionable to return.
He had a single catch for 12 yards, a single rush for six yards, and a fumble before leaving. Schwartz had an opportunity to make a bigger impact on this game with David Bell out but didn’t really seize hold of it.

  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Anthony Schwartz caught 1-of-2 targets for 17 yards, adding one rush for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Browns’ Week 12 win over the Buccaneers.
Schwartz showed some nice burst on his 31-yard score but he was essentially a gadget player. With four fewer targets than David Bell in this game, he can be left on the waiver wire.

  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Browns WR Anthony Schwartz (knee) has resumed practicing.
It’s a sigh of relief after Schwartz suffered a non-contact injury. The second-year third-rounder had been sidelined since July 28. The Browns have been talking Schwartz up ahead of his sophomore campaign, but especially with it looking like Jacoby Brissett will be making a majority of the starts at quarterback, there is little reason for 2022 re-draft optimism.

  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said WR Anthony Schwartz is day to day with a knee strain.
Schwartz left practice with the team’s trainers after suffering a non-contact knee injury Thursday. He was able to walk off under his own power and Stefanski didn’t seem concerned a day later. It looks like the worst-case scenario has been avoided. With Schwartz sidelined and David Bell on the PUP list, Donovan Peoples-Jones will be getting plenty of reps with the first team. If he solidifies himself as a starter, DPJ could prodive a few big weeks throughout the year.

  • MIA Wide Receiver #10
Browns second-year WR Anthony Schwartz is being evaluated for a left knee injury after departing Thursday’s practice.
It’s a non-contact issue after Schwartz “pulled up while working on routes on air.” That is never a good sign, though Schwartz was able to walk off the field with the trainer. A 2021 third-rounder coming off an injury-marred rookie year, the Browns have been broadcasting that they hope Schwartz can be an important part of their re-tooled receiver corps.
