  • ATL Running Back #42
    Falcons waived RB Caleb Huntley.
This comes just days after Huntley was placed on the active/PUP list by the team as he recovers from a torn Achilles. Even if he was healthy, Huntley was facing an up-hill battle for playing time with Bijan Robinson, Tyler Allgeier, and Cordarrelle Patterson all ahead of him on the depth chart.
  • ATL Running Back #42
Falcons placed RB Caleb Huntley (Achilles) on the active/PUP list.
Although Huntley can technically be activated at any time, he will undoubtedly revert to reserve/PUP at final cuts, costing him at least the first four games of the season. Huntley was a decent role player in 2022, but the 24-year-old would be out of the picture behind Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier even if he were healthy.
  • FA Running Back #42
Falcons RB Caleb Huntley (Achilles) is not practicing at OTAs.
Huntley was seen walking without a boot, and he did catch passes off a Jugs machine after practice. His fantasy value in re-draft leagues was already dwindling because of the Achilles tear, and then the Falcons drafted Bijan Robinson. He’s a deep-league stash at this point, and the Falcons are not very forthcoming with injury timetables.

  • FA Running Back #42
Falcons RB Caleb Huntley (Achilles) will miss the remainder of the season.
Huntley suffered his injury in Sunday’s Week 15 loss to the Saints. The second-year running back finishes his 2022 campaign with 76 carries for 366 yards and one touchdown. Huntley registered double-digit carries on three separate occasions this season, and rushed for a season-high 91 yards in Week 8 against the Panthers.

  • FA Running Back #42
Caleb Huntley suffered a serious ankle injury in the Falcons’ Week 15 loss to the Saints.
The word comes straight from coach Arthur Smith, who said it “didn’t look good.” Huntley will undergo a Monday MRI to confirm, but with only three games left in the regular season, the 2021 UDFA’s sophomore season is likely through. He had just one carry for two yards before departing on Sunday. We should gain clarity on Monday.

  • FA Running Back #42
Caleb Huntley (ankle) is active for Week 12 against the Commanders.
Huntley will be active as the No. 3 back but his snaps figure to be limited at less than 100 percent. Altanta’s inactive are DL Jalen Dalton, S Jovante Moffatt, CB Cornell Armstrong, ILB Nate Landman, OL Chuma Edoga and WR Frank Darby.

  • FA Running Back #42
Caleb Huntley (ankle) is questionable for Week 12 against the Commanders.
Huntley has been demoted to RB3 duties with Cordarrelle Patterson back in the fold but still pitches in for a few carries every week. Should he miss Atlanta’s Week 12 matchup with the Commanders, both Patterson and Tyler Allgeier will get slight boosts in their rankings.

  • FA Running Back #42
Caleb Huntley was limited in Wednesday’s practice with an ankle issue.
Perhaps the ankle is why Huntley’s workload was scaled back in Week 11, though he did not miss any snaps. Today’s limited session keeps him on track to suit up against the Commanders, though he has become a distant No. 3 behind Cordarrelle Patterson and Tyler Allgeier. With all 32 teams active for Week 12, Huntley is off the map even in 14-team leagues.

  • FA Running Back #42
Caleb Huntley rushed five times for 32 yards in the Falcons’ Week 10 loss to the Panthers.
Huntley was not targeted in the passing game. Huntley actually led the Falcons’ running back group in yardage this evening but was a distant third in snaps behind Cordarrelle Patterson and Tyler Allgeier. The rotation will remain, but Huntley will still be third in it vs. the Bears in Week 11.

  • FA Running Back #42
Caleb Huntley rushed seven times for 34 yards in the Falcons’ Week 9 loss to the Chargers.
The Falcons prioritized Tyler Allgeier over Huntley as Cordarrelle Patterson’s backup in his first game back from injured reserve. Huntley finished third on the team in carries. He can be dropped in all fantasy formats.
