The Giants have had a hole at linebacker all season next to Bobby Okereke, so Murphy might get a look down the stretch. He could be IDP viable as well, given that these are the 2025 New York Giants he’s playing with.

The Patriots claimed Murphy off waivers from the Chargers in October. The 26-year-old linebacker totaled just two tackles in the five games he appeared in for the Patriots and became expendable after the team signed Chad Muma earlier on Monday. Murphy will now head back to waivers where he can be claimed by any team.

The 25-year-old former Titans UDFA had been a rotational pass rusher for the Chargers this year, seeing 88 pass rush snaps of his 129 total snaps in six weeks with the team. He’ll likely be tried in the same role in New England, now reunited with former head coach Mike Vrabel.

Nothing noteworthy here other than a name that isn’t here since Tyjae Spears is active and will play on Sunday.

The big name is the one that isn’t listed here since Jamal Adams will be active and making his Titans debut. That’s good news against Aaron Rogers and Garrett Wilson.
