Browns claimed EDGE Cameron Thomas off waivers from the Chiefs.
Thomas played just six snaps with the Chiefs in 2024, but was a solid rotational edge for the Cardinals in 2022 and 2023. The Browns will get a look at him over their last six games of the season. Kansas City acquired him at final cuts, and Thomas will be on year four of his rookie deal for the Browns in 2025 if they want him back.

Chiefs declared DE Cameron Thomas, OL C.J. Hanson, OT Ethan Driskell, and DT Marlon Tuipulotu inactive for Week 3 against the Falcons.
The biggest news out of Kansas City heading into Week 3 is the absence of running back Isiah Pacheco. Also, running back Kareem Hunt was signed to the practice squad and not elevated prior to the team’s Sunday Night Football game.

Chiefs declared DE Cameron Thomas, DT Marlon Tuipulotu, OT Ethan Driskell and OL C.J. Hanson inactive for Week 2 against the Bengals.
Not exactly the most exciting list of inactives. Hollywood Brown (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve earlier in the week, for those that missed that news.

Chiefs acquired LB Cameron Thomas from the Cardinals for a future seventh-round pick.
Thomas was a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft and a second-team All-American in his last year at San Diego State. Thomas gives the Chiefs more edge depth as they wait for the return of injured pass rusher Charles Omenihu.

San Diego State DL Cameron Thomas (undisclosed) left Tuesday’s Senior Bowl practice and will not return.
It was a curious situation for Thomas (6'5/265), as the American Team had yet to put their helmets on for drills when Thomas walked off the field under the supervision of Lions trainers. He later returned to the sideline in street clothes with his status very much in doubt for the rest of the week. A standout performer for the past three seasons, Thomas took his game to another level in 2021, recording an impressive 77 pressures and 44 hurries while earning a superb 89.4 defensive grade from Pro Football Focus. It’s an unfortunate break for the promising edge rusher, hopefully he will still be able to suit up by this weekend.

Pro Football Focus’ Anthony Teash passes along that San Diego State redshirt sophomore DT Cameron Thomas logged three or more quarterback pressures in eight games last season.
You want to see Thomas at his most disruptive, check out his performance against New Mexico State from last fall. Treash relays that in that contest, the 6-foot-5, 260-pounder recorded a whopping eight pressures. He posted PFF grades over 80 as both a run-defender and pass-rusher in 2019. Teash slots in Thomas as the No. 4 returning interior defensive lineman for the 2020 season.
