Cowboys HC Brian Schottenheimer said CeeDee Lamb is “progressing nicely” through the league’s concussion protocol.
It’s encouraging news for Lamb, who exited the Cowboys’ Thursday night game against the Lions in the first half with a concussion. With some extra time to recover, Lamb could have a chance at suiting up for Week 15’s game against the Vikings, but the only way he’ll get on the field is if he clears protocol. His status will be one to watch throughout the week, but if he can’t go against the Vikings, both George Pickens and Ryan Flournoy would see slight boosts to their fantasy stocks.

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said WR CeeDee Lamb (concussion) “had a good day” on Friday.
Lamb still has to get through the NFL’s concussion protocol, but this is nice to hear. Allowing the symptoms to abate through rest and rehab is key. Players frequently miss at least one game after entering the protocol, but the added rest time afforded to Lamb thanks to the Cowboys’ Week 14 Thursday Night Football game could help him take the field in Week 15 against the Vikings.

ESPN’s Todd Archer reports CeeDee Lamb is in the league’s concussion protocol.
This was expected after Lamb exited Week 14’s game against the Lions with a concussion. Lamb came down hard on his head in the second quarter of Thursday’s game and was ruled out shortly after being evaluated on the sideline. With the injury occurring on a Thursday, Lamb will have some additional time to clear protocol before playing next Sunday night against the Vikings. If he’s unable to go, Ryan Flournoy, who went for 9-115-1 against the Lions, would have some viability as a FLEX play.

CeeDee Lamb (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Week 14’s game against the Lions.
That didn’t take long. Just minutes after being reviewed by the Cowboys’ independent neurologists for a concussion, Lamb has been ruled out for the game. His day ends with a 6-121-0 receiving line on eight targets, setting a new season-high in receiving yards. Lamb ripped off several big gains in this one, with his longest reception coming on a 37-yard catch-and-run. With this injury occurring on a Thursday, Lamb will have some extra time to clear protocol ahead of Week 15’s game against the Vikings, but his status will be one to watch next week.

CeeDee Lamb exited in the third quarter of Week 14’s game against the Lions.
Lamb attempted to make an acrobatic catch in the end zone and came down hard on his head. He appeared to be in the fencing position, which occurs after a player has suffered a serious head injury, and was eventually helped off the field by trainers. He leaves the field with a season-high 121 receiving yards on eight targets. We’ll check back once the team provides a status update on the star receiver.

CeeDee Lamb caught 7-of-9 targets for 112 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys’ Week 13 win over the Chiefs.
Lamb got the Cowboys on the board in the first quarter with a 15-yard touchdown on the team’s second possession, seeing ample production throughout the first half before the Chiefs adjusted to account for his exploits. He was then rather quiet after the break as the team relied more heavily on George Pickens before a 51-yard catch in the fourth quarter shot him over the 100-yard mark in a hurry. He would add one more catch before all was said and done to finish with his best fantasy output in six weeks. He gets a pristine matchup on paper in Week 14 against the injury-riddled secondary of the Lions.

George Pickens caught all nine of his targets for 146 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys’ Week 12 win against the Eagles.
It was a nice follow up to his 144-yard, one-touchdown performance in Week 11 against the Raiders, and this time it came against an elite Eagles secondary that has snuffed out opposing passing attacks over the past month. Pickens’ big day came as CeeDee Lamb had just four grabs for 75 yards on 11 targets, dropping two balls from Dak Prescott. Pickens now has five games this season with more than 80 receiving yards. He has scored at least one touchdown in eight games. Drawing targets at a higher per-route rate than Lamb, there’s an argument that Pickens is the Cowboys’ No. 1 wideout for now. He’ll take on the stingy Chiefs defense in Week 13.

CeeDee Lamb caught 4-of-11 targets for 75 yards in the Cowboys’ Week 12 win against the Eagles.
Lamb continued to struggle with drops in this one. He had two official drops, but it could have been three if the scorekeepers were a little less generous to Lamb. He dropped what would have been a game-winning touchdown and appeared flummoxed on the bench by himself afterward. Lamb nearly came down with a long reception on a gorgeous Dak Prescott deep ball in the second half but narrowly missed it. Functioning as the 1A option to George Pickens’ 1B in the Cowboys offense, Lamb should be a top fantasy option on Thanksgiving Day against the Chiefs.

CeeDee Lamb caught 5-of-7 targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Cowboys’ Week 11 win over the Raiders.
The end line doesn’t tell the full story as Lamb was disciplined for unknown reasons to start the game, watching from the sidelines as the team went three-and-out on their first possession. He bookended the solid fantasy showing with a missed connection with quarterback Dak Prescott on a would-be walk-in touchdown late in the fourth quarter on fourth down. Even so, it was a solid showing for one of the league’s top receivers. He’ll get the surging Philadelphia defense in Week 12 at home.

CeeDee Lamb caught 7-of-12 targets for 85 yards in the Cowboys’ Week 9 loss to the Cardinals.
Lamb was mostly unable to shake loose from tight coverage outside of a 33-yard gain on a scramble drill in the second half. Both his 12 targets and 85 yards led the team on a night the Cowboys notched just 333 yards of total offense, but two turnovers on downs in the red zone and three giveaways capped his fantasy upside. The Cowboys now head to their bye week losers of three of their last four games, now sitting 2.5-games behind the division-leading Eagles in the NFC East.
