It’s a blow to Kevin Jones and the Detroit running game. But Shawn Bryson, also the third-down back, can capably move over to the position.

He left yesterday’s game with a hamstring injury, but should be able to return after the Lions bye week.

The Lions are hopeful he’ll return for Sunday’s game. The Lions running game is in big trouble heading to Atlanta.

Schlesinger will be evaluated on Monday.

Stephen Trejo has played well for the last month in place of Schlesinger, but Detroit would love to get their starter back.

The starer missed three games with a hamstring injury. Maybe he can help Detroit’s moribound running game.
