Greg Dulcich caught 3-of-4 targets for 31 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 18 loss to the Patriots.
Promoted from the practice squad ahead of Week 8, 25-year-old Dulcich ended up posting his most yards (335) since his 2022 rookie season in Denver. He totaled 28 yards in 2023-24. He was a shockingly steady contributor, as well, catching at least three passes in four of his final five games as Darren Waller battled injury. Not a bad career revival, but also not enough to suggest Dulcich will really be back in the re-draft mix for 2026. We suppose he has at least put himself back on the dynasty league fringes. Dulcich turns 26 in March.

Dolphins placed TE Darren Waller (groin) on injured reserve.
Waller had seen his role in the offense diminish since Quinn Ewers took over as quarterback. The 33-year-old tight end had 66 yards and two touchdowns in his last game with Tua Tagovailoa, but had just 40 yards in a dream matchup against the Bengals in Ewers’ first start. Last week, Greg Dulcich usurped Waller completely. With Waller’s season now over, Dulcich has the role all to himself in Week 18. Waller finished with 283 yards and six touchdowns in three starts, proving he still has TE1 upside in his range of weekly outcomes even if it comes with a heaping serving of “left Week X’s game and did not return.” Waller, 34 at the start of next season, will be a free agent this offseason.

Dolphins TE Darren Waller (groin) did not practice on Thursday.
The Dolphins have let TE Greg Dulcich play ahead of Waller recently. If Waller is unable to play in Week 18 against the Patriots, the coaching staff will only be further incentivized to see what they have in Dulcich. Stay tuned.
  • MIA Tight End #85
Greg Dulcich caught 5-of-6 targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins’ Week 17 win over the Buccaneers.
Dulcich was the Dolphins’ leading target-getter against the Bucs, doing all of his damage in the first half. He scored an 11-yard touchdown at the end of the second quarter and did not record a catch in the second half. Dulcich also added a carry in the red zone that went for a loss of seven yards. He has worked ahead of Darren Waller at the tight end spot for the last few weeks, with Waller catching just one pass for no gain in Week 17. The Dolphins offense will undergo changes heading into next season, but Dulcich is a viable fantasy TE2 for those still playing fantasy games in Week 18.
  • MIA Tight End #85
Greg Dulcich caught 3-of-3 targets for 46 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 16 loss to the Bengals.
This was the second straight week Dulcich posted 46 yards, tying for his second most of the season. Good enough, but the bad was Dulcich’s soft third quarter fumble that helped lead to a 21-0 frame for the Bengals. Still an afterthought behind Darren Waller in an offense trying out a seventh-round rookie quarterback, Dulcich is out of sight, out of mind for the fantasy finals.
  • MIA Tight End #85
Greg Dulcich caught 3-of-3 targets for 41 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 14 win over the Jets.
Dulcich out-snapped Darren Waller and tied him for targets as the Dolphins continue to utilize both in the passing game. He made a catch-and-run of over 20 yards into the red zone that was nullified by penalty and kept his yardage to 41 on the day. Dulcich is difficult to trust on a weekly basis and is on the TE2 borderline for Week 15.
  • MIA Tight End #85
Greg Dulcich caught 2-of-4 targets for 18 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 11 win over the Commanders.
Dulcich earned a healthy 20 percent target share but managed just 3.8 PPR points. Fellow Miami tight end Julian Hill was targeted just once. Dulcich will be well below the TE2 ranks when he returns from the Dolphins’ upcoming bye to face the Broncos.
  • MIA Tight End #85
Greg Dulcich caught 5-of-5 targets for 49 yards in the Dolphins’ Week 9 loss to the Ravens.
Promoted from the practice squad eight days ago after the Dolphins lost Darren Waller to a pec injury, Dulcich wasn’t targeted against the Falcons in Week 8 but surprisingly caught just one fewer pass than each of Jaylen Waddle and De’Von Achane this evening. Although we would like to think it is something to build off of for a former hype merchant who is still only 25 years old, it is far more likely to be a fluke. Dulcich isn’t worth a re-draft FAAB expenditure ahead of Week 10 against the Bills. Maybe you can toss one more Hail Mary in dynasty leagues.
  • MIA Running Back #20
Dolphins signed RB Jeff Wilson to their practice squad.
With Brian Robinson now in San Francisco, Wilson probably felt better about his chances of being elevated off Miami’s practice squad. The Dolphins also signed TE Greg Dulcich, CB BJ Adams, CB Cornell Armstrong, LB Quinton Bell, OL Braeden Daniels, WR AJ Henning, DT Alex Huntley, LB Derrick McLendon, K Riley Patterson, OL Josh Priebe, TE Hayden Rucci, S John Saunders Jr., TE Theo Wease Jr., S Jordan Colbert to their practice squad.
  • NYG Tight End #89
    Giants released TE Greg Dulcich.
Dulcich was claimed off waivers by the Giants last year after the Broncos decided to move on from the former third-round tight end. The 25-year-old had seven catches for 53 yards and three touchdowns in the preseason, but it still wasn’t enough to crack the Giants’ tight end room. Expect him to catch on with another organization either on waivers or via the practice squad.
