Jaguars TE Hunter Long (knee) is not on Jacksonville’s final Week 13 injury report.
It doesn’t matter for fantasy managers now that Brenton Strange is back, but Long should help the Jaguars as a blocker against the Titans.
  • JAC Tight End #85
Jaguars TE Brenton Strange (hip) is questionable for Jacksonville’s Week 12 game against the Cardinals.
We’d bet that Strange remains out after three limited sessions this week given that there’s still time remaining on his 21-day window and the Jaguars weren’t inclined to push it last week. But if he did somehow find himself active, he’d be a high-end TE2 due to re-injury risk in what projects as a nice game script for the Jaguars. Hunter Long (hip/knee) was also ruled out after three limited sessions, leaving blocker Johnny Mundt as the starter if Strange can’t go.

Jaguars TE Brenton Strange (hip) won’t play in Jacksonville’s Week 11 game against the Chargers.
He was a surprise DNP on Friday as well. Strange is still in his 21-day window so there’s no need to push it if he’s not going to play this week. Hunter Long (hip/knee) was also ruled out today, leaving Johnny Mundt as the primary Jaguars tight end in Week 11.
  • JAC Tight End #84
Jaguars ruled out TE Hunter Long (hip/knee) for Week 10 against the Texans.
Long has been filling in for TE Brenton Strange (hip/quad), but has yet to earn more than three targets in a game, so his absence is hardly consequential. Jaguars TE Johnny Mundt is the next man up, though he should not be considered for TE1 purposes.
  • JAC Tight End #84
Hunter Long (hip/knee) did not practice Wednesday.
Long had been filling in for Brenton Strange, who remains on injured reserve with quad and hip injuries. Johnny Mundt would be the next man up if Long is out for Week 10. We don’t expect Long’s absence to create any fantasy value for Mundt.
  • JAC Tight End #84
Hunter Long caught 2-of-3 targets for 16 yards on the Jaguars’ Week 7 loss to the Rams.
Brenton Strange has missed the past two games while on injured reserve. Long has four catches for 35 yards with Strange out. He is running more routes as the starting tight end but isn’t earning enough targets to make waves as a fantasy option. Long is off the fantasy radar entirely heading into the Jags’ Week 8 bye.
  • JAC Tight End #84
Jaguars agreed to terms with TE Hunter Long, formerly of the Rams, on a two-year, $5 million contract.
Long has had notable PFF blocking grades for the Rams since coming over from the Dolphins in the Jalen Ramsey trade. Over the last two years, Long has pass blocking grades of 65.2 and 73.4 to go with run blocking grades of 67.3 and 68.1. He and Johnny Mundt will build a 13-personnel set to set your grandfather’s watch to in Jacksonville.
  • LA Tight End #84
The Rams designated TE Hunter Long to return from injured reserve.
Long returned to practice Wednesday, opening his 21-day activation window from injured reserve. He was placed on injured reserve at the beginning of the season with a thigh injury. The Rams can get Long back within the next three weeks to add to their offense.
  • LA Quarterback #13
Rams coach Sean McVay said QB Stetson Bennett (shoulder) could be placed on injured reserve.
Bennet suffered a right shoulder injury late in the summer and has not practiced this week. Brett Rypien is slated for backup duties in his absence. Per McVay, backup tight end Hunter Long is also a candidate to land on injured reserve.
  • LA Tight End #84
Rams removed TE Hunter Long from the physically unable to perform list following a passed physical.
Long came over to the organization in the Jalen Ramsey trade with the Dolphins earlier this offseason but had been on the PUP list since his acquisition. The former third-round tight end had largely been buried on the Dolphins’ depth chart but could carve out a significant role alongside starter Tyler Higbee in Los Angeles.
