Lions coach Dan Campbell said Isaac TeSlaa has “looked like a consistent veteran this offseason” and he is “excited about where he’s trending.”

TeSlaa looks to be penciled into the three-wide set next to Jameson Williams and Amon-Ra St. Brown. It’s hard to understand how TeSlaa will generate much in the way of targets — he sure didn’t last year when he was on the field — but the Lions could have a good enough offense that TeSlaa finds his way on the WR4 radar this year either way. TeSlaa notched six touchdowns on 27 targets last year.

The Athletic’s Colton Pouncy believes Isaac TeSlaa should be a “full-time starter” in 2026.

TeSlaa played sparingly for most of the season until Kalif Raymond started dealing with an ankle injury near Thanksgiving. TeSlaa’s numbers boomed to an average of 44 snaps a game for the rest of the season. The target rate wasn’t exactly fantasy-friendly, but TeSlaa managed six touchdowns on just 27 targets last year and figures to be an interesting fantasy football player in 2026, if not a downright useful one.

Isaac TeSlaa caught his only target for 18 yards in the Lions’ Week 18 win over the Bears.

TeSlaa emerged as a primary option for the Lions in Week 13 after Amon-Ra St. Brown departed with injury, finishing off the back half of his rookie season as the clear WR3 for the Lions. That effectively shifted Kalif Raymond into a situational role, something likely to carry forward into the 2026 season. TeSlaa ends his rookie year with 16 catches for 239 yards, flashing abilities in the red zone through six touchdowns. Although unlikely to immediately see his role grow while playing alongside St. Brown and Jameson Williams, TeSlaa appears likely to step into a bigger role when one of the main receivers goes down. That gives him legitimate best ball upside considering he will be playing for an offense that has finished in the top five in scoring in each of the previous four seasons.

Isaac TeSlaa caught 3-of-4 targets for 48 yards in the Lions’ Week 17 loss to the Vikings.

TeSlaa made another impressive leaping effort for a touchdown in the first half in the red zone for the only touchdown of the game for Detroit. The rookie’s athleticism is obvious. His fit in the offense is a little more questionable. TeSlaa could get a chance to show out in a game without playoff ramifications against the Bears in Week 18.

Isaac TeSlaa caught 4-of-7 targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Lions’ Week 16 loss to the Steelers.

TeSlaa’s touchdown grab this week was relatively routine for his lofty standards. He climbed that ladder on a hole shot into the end zone and was spun around by a collision with multiple defenders. For most players, it would have been an incredible addition to the highlight reel. It was just another Sunday for TeSlaa. The rookie is up to five touchdown grabs on the year. Incredibly, the seven targets equaled TeSlaa’s last month of work in the box score. He will be a boom/bust WR6 for his Week 17 date with the Vikings.

Kalif Raymond caught his only target for 20 yards in Detroit’s Week 15 loss to the Rams.

He was actually shut out until the fourth quarter, as only three Lions even were targeted up until that point. Isaac TeSlaa (39 snaps) received a clear plurality of the third receiver cardio, but bageled on one target. The Lions have done a great job concentrating things on the main pieces and neither Raymond nor TeSlaa are must-starts if they can’t get anywhere close to “there” when the team scores 34 points.

Lions WR Kalif Raymond (ankle) is questionable for Detroit’s Week 15 game against the Rams.

He got in three limited practices this week. Raymond carries almost zero stand-alone fantasy value, but his return could put a crimp in Isaac TeSlaa’s contributions against the Rams. Even with touchdown catches in his last two weeks, TeSlaa would be a low-floor start against a good Rams pass defense.

Lions coach Dan Campbell said Kalif Raymond (ankle) will not play in Detroit’s Week 14 game against the Cowboys.

Since suffering this ankle injury in Week 12, Raymond has not yet practiced. Isaac TeSlaa took over as the third wideout last week and scored despite seeing just two targets. TeSlaa has already proven himself a big-play threat, but his target volume is so low he’ll be hard to trust in a FLEX spot.

Isaac TeSlaa caught 2-of-2 targets for 35 yards and one touchdown in the Lions’ Week 13 loss to the Packers.

TeSlaa scored his touchdown on the Lions’ sixth drive, getting open on an in-breaking route inside the end zone. The play went for 17 yards, marking his third career score. He is a boom-bust FLEX option with Kalif Raymond (ankle) sidelined.

Lions WR Isaac TeSlaa (hand) is questionable for Week 13 against the Packers.

TeSlaa has been limited in practice with a hand injury and is officially listed as questionable for Week 13. With Kalif Raymond ruled out, TeSlaa could be in line for increased opportunities if he is active.
