Colts signed OT J’Marcus Webb to the practice squad.
Webb went unsigned through the first 13 weeks after making eight spot starts for Miami last year. The Colts also promoted P Ryan Allen and C Joey Hunt from the practice squad to the active roster.

  • Free agent RT J’Marcus Webb isn’t expected to re-sign with the Dolphins.
Webb made eight starts for the Dolphins last year but he allowed seven sacks and graded out as the worst tackle in the league at Pro Football Focus. Even with Miami’s depth issues, it’s an easy decision to move on from Webb.
  • Seahawks signed G/T J’Marcus Webb, formerly of the Raiders.
A tackle for most of his career, Webb started 14 games at right guard for Oakland last season before closing out the year at right tackle. Webb was not particularly effective at either spot, but the Seahawks are desperate for help along the offensive line. Webb should compete for a starting job.
  • J’Marcus Webb is reportedly making a push for the Raiders’ starting right guard job.
The known contenders are journeyman liability Khalif Barnes and fourth-round rookie Jon Feliciano. 27 years old (in August), Webb has been bouncing around the league since flopping as an early-career starter at left tackle with the Bears. The Raiders’ lone open job on the offensive line is right guard.
  • ESPN Raiders reporter Bill Williamson believes J’Marcus Webb is the favorite to start at right guard heading into camp.
Webb is trying to beat out journeyman Khalif Barnes and rookie Jon Feliciano for the starting gig. A failed left tackle in Chicago, Webb did not play an offensive snap for the Vikings last season.
  • Raiders signed OT J’Marcus Webb.
J’Webb Nation appeared in one game for the Vikings last season. The former Bears starter is a depth signing who likely won’t make the 53-man roster.
  • Dolphins signed RT J’Marcus Webb.
Webb worked out for the Dolphins earlier this week and clearly Brian Flores’ staff liked what they saw. With Laremy Tunsil now in Houston, the Fins have a huge need at left tackle, though the veteran Webb is better viewed as a depth option for Miami.
  • Free agent RT J’Marcus Webb met with the Dolphins.
Webb didn’t survive final cuts in Indy. He’s dealt with injuries the past few years but has been a starter when healthy. Webb would give the Dolphins some veteran depth after trading Laremy Tunsil.
  • Colts released RT J’Marcus Webb.
Webb began 2018 as the Colts’ starting right tackle but lasted just 81 snaps before succumbing to a season-ending hamstring injury. With Indy returning its entire offensive line from last season, there wasn’t a spot for the 31-year-old, who has now been with six organizations in his nine-year career. Braden Smith will be the Colts’ Week 1 starter at right tackle.
  • Colts re-signed RT J’Marcus Webb.
Webb got the nod in Week 1 for the Colts but was moved to injured reserve for the rest of the season following a hamstring injury. Indy brings back all five starting linemen in Anthony Castonzo (left tackle), Quenton Nelson (left guard), Ryan Kelly (center), Mark Glowinski (right guard) and Braden Smith (right tackle) in 2019, but Webb is serviceable depth that could step in at any moment and plug a hole.
