With Anquan Boldin and Bryant Johnson out with injuries, McCoy is expected to split time as the second receiver with Reggie Newhouse.

McCoy got the start because Anquan Boldin and Bryant Johnson were sidelined with injuries. He could get the nod against the Rams in week 11 as well.

He’ll try to make an impact on special teams this season.

McCoy most recently spent time with Arizona, where he showed potential as a receiver. His addition could put pressure on Jason Hill (hamstring) to get healthy and Ashley Lelie to step up. Estes was strictly a blocker.
