Lil’Jordan Humphrey caught 1-of-3 targets for five yards in the Broncos’ Conference Championship loss to the Patriots.
Sean Payton has long been a card-carrying member of the Lil’Jordan Humphrey Fan Club and reunited with the veteran receiver mid-season in November. Humphrey played his first snaps with the Broncos in Week 11 and wound up catching nine passes for 101 yards and one touchdown in seven regular-season games with the team. Humphrey also hauled in a 29-yard touchdown in the Divisional Round of the playoffs to help the Broncos advance past the Bills. Humphrey started this season with the Giants only to be cut later in the season. He’ll be a free agent this offseason, but his familiarity with Payton and the Broncos could lure him back to Denver on a short-term deal for 2026.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey caught 2-of-5 targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ AFC Divisional Round win over the Bills.
Humphrey was thrust into a larger role after Pat Bryant suffered a concussion on the first drive. However, things didn’t start great for Humphrey as he dropped a sure-fire touchdown pass from Bo Nix on that same drive. Later, right before halftime, Humphrey was able to get behind fourth-string safety Darnell Savage for a touchdown. The 27-year-old may be relied on again next week if Bryant can’t return to the field.

Pat Bryant has been ruled out for the remainder of the AFC Divisional Round against the Bills with a concussion.
Bryant had three catches for 32 yards on the first drive and looked set to be a huge part of this offensive gameplan. However, he suffered a concussion when his helmet hit the ground after his final catch. Lil’Jordan Humphrey took his place but dropped a touchdown catch on the first drive.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey caught 3-of-4 targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ Week 15 win over the Packers.
Humphrey has now caught six passes over the last two weeks and found the end zone for his first touchdown of the season when Bo Nix connected with him on a five-yard pass late in the second quarter. Humphrey’s 45 snaps were the second-most of any Broncos receiver on Sunday, but he remains difficult to trust given the fact that he’s spent years being a replacement-level player. We wouldn’t advise chasing the points here ahead of Week 16’s game against the Jaguars.

Broncos signed WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey off the Giants’ practice squad.
Humphrey appeared in all 17 games for the Broncos in 2023 and 2024. He has been active for three games in New York this year, catching four passes for 55 yards. Schefter notes that Humphrey is likely to play in Week 11. His routes are likely to come at the expense of rookie Pat Bryant.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey did not catch either of his targets in the Giants’ Week 7 loss against the Broncos.
Humphrey played something close to a full-time role with Darius Slayton sidelined with a lingering hamstring injury. Last week against the Eagles, Humphrey went for 55 yards on four catches. He’ll face the Eagles again in Week 8, but would only be fantasy viable if Slayton is out.

Giants WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) has been ruled out for the Week 7 matchup against the Broncos.
Slayton hurt his hamstring in Week 5 against the Saints and hasn’t practiced since. The 28-year-old wide receiver was ruled out Saturday to no one’s surprise. A sliver of hope fantasy managers can cling to is that Slayton is yet to be placed on injured reserve, which assumes the Giants believe he can return to the field before missing four games. Lil’Jordan Humphrey led Giants receivers with eight targets against the Eagles last week and will be in line for more work with Slayton out once again.

Giants WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) is doubtful for New York’s Week 7 game against the Broncos.
He did not practice in any session this week and hasn’t practiced since injuring himself in Week 5’s loss to the Saints. It would not be surprising if Slayton were placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 7’s game, but if he’s not, he enters Week 8 as a firm question mark. Lil’Jordan Humphrey led all Giants with eight targets last Thursday and is an interesting desperation FLEX play in a #RevengeGame against the Broncos.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey caught 4-of-8 targets for 55 yards in the Giants’ Week 6 win over the Eagles.
Elevated from the practice squad with Darius Slayton sidelined with a hamstring injury, 27-year-old journeyman Humphrey somehow matched a career high with his eight looks. Several of them came in the end zone, where Humphrey unfortunately committed a drop. He also drew a defensive holding call. We’re sure the Giants were happy with the effort from a role player on short notice, but this could easily be the last time all year you hear Humphrey’s name.

Darius Slayton (hamstring) is out for Week 6 against the Eagles.
Slayton never had a real chance to suit up for the Giants on Thursday night after he was seen with a pronounced limp in the locker room following New York’s Week 5 loss against the Saints. ESPN’s Jordan Raanan said Lil’Jordan Humphrey will likely take Slayton’s spot in the Giants offense on Thursday. Slayton had seen 14 targets over the past three games as the team’s primary downfield threat.
