Marvin Mims caught 4-of-5 targets for 44 yards in the Broncos’ Week 12 win against the Raiders, adding two rushes for -2 yards.
Mims has seen both his route rate and target share rise over the past two weeks. Against the Raiders, the speedy Mims was the recipient of several designed bubble screens, one of which went for 37 yards against a soft Vegas coverage unit. Mims remains a big play-reliant fantasy option who isn’t seeing enough targets to be considered outside the deepest fantasy formats. Sunday was only his second game of 2024 with more than 40 receiving yards.

Marvin Mims caught both of his targets for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos’ Week 11 win against the Falcons, adding three rushes for four yards.
The Broncos got Mims involved with designed touches in the first half, though he only ran ten routes on 36 Bo Nix drop backs on the day. Mims’ touchdown, his first of the season, came on a well-designed 12-yard bubble screen near the end of the second quarter. Mims is still primarily a kicker returner and shouldn’t be played in 12-team fantasy leagues until he sees more playing time.

Marvin Mims Jr. rushed three times for 17 yards in Denver’s Week 10 loss to the Chiefs, adding four catches for 13 yards on four targets.
Remember when Mims Jr. was a dynamite deep receiver coming out of Oklahoma? Sean Payton doesn’t care. Mims Jr. became an extension of the running game against the Chiefs and saw seven touches in just 13 snaps. That touch rate is fantasy-interesting, but Mims Jr. has not quite risen to the heights of “PPR Scam” just yet. He’s back on the actual waiver wire consideration list though with the Broncos facing Atlanta in Week 11.

Marvin Mims Jr. caught 0-of-3 targets in the Broncos’ Week 6 loss to the Chargers.
Mims was targeted on the third play from scrimmage but tipped a Bo Nix pass to Chargers DB Elijah Molden. Mims failed to secure his remaining two targets, though he did return a punt for 10 yards. With Devaughn Vele and Troy Franklin rising, Mims can be safely dropped in re-draft leagues.

Marvin Mims Jr. caught 1-of-1 targets for seven yards and rushed one time for 17 yards in the Broncos’ Week 5 win over the Raiders.
PFF credits Mims with missed tackles forced on both offensive touches and he averaged 27.0 yards on a pair of punt returns. Mims looks like the most dynamic player on the Broncos’ roster but his limited involvement renders him an agonizing bench stash for Week 6 against the Chargers.

Marvin Mims Jr. caught 1-of-2 targets for 10 yards in a loss to the Steelers in Week 2.
Nope, Mims is still not a thing in the Broncos offense. He was out-targeted by Lil’Jordan Humphrey 5-to-2 today. Mims should not be on fantasy rosters.

Oklahoma junior WR Marvin Mims could take another step in 2022.
Mims (5'11/177) was a standout for the Oklahoma offense in 2021, recording 32 receptions for 705 yards with five touchdowns. While he’s already starting to receive a good bit of attention from the national media ahead of the season, that’s something that could grow even more into the fall. Anthony Treash of Pro Football Focus is among those who are high on what Mims brings to the table, saying that the wideout “is going to be an integral piece for the Sooners in 2022.” That shouldn’t take anyone by surprise after what Mims put up on tape last season.

Oklahoma junior WR Marvin Mims is a prospect to watch ahead of the 2022 season.
Mims (5'11/177) finished out the 2021 season with 32 receptions for 705 yards with five touchdowns. He’s getting some pop ahead of the 2022 season for the work he’s put up on film and is expected by many to be the best wide receiver in the Big 12. But this hype goes beyond just the conference itself. According to Pro Football Focus, Mims is the No. 8 wide receiver in the country before the fall rolls around. Mims has a chance to continue rising through the rankings and could take another step in 2022.

Oklahoma junior WR Marvin Mims told 24/7 Sports’ Chris Hummer that he likely would have transferred if Lincoln Reilly had stayed in Norman.
Once Reilly bolted for Los Angeles, there were a lot of Sooners that entered the transfer portal, and for good reason. Some of them followed Reilly to USC and others saw the chaos and decided to leave. Mims (5'11"/177) almost left as well. “There wasn’t as many targets as I was looking for, nowhere near it,” Mims said. “It was kind of a letdown, but at the end of the day I had to just keep battling through it.” Mims almost left due to “wanting a change,” but he got that with Brent Venables and especially Jeff Lebby. “You’re talking about one of the top three offensive coordinators in the country statistically. He’s just a great guy.” Mims returning to the Sooners is huge for their prospects this season and he will be the top target for new quarterback Dillon Gabriel.

Oklahoma junior WR Marvin Mims has the top PFF receiving grade in the Big 12 over the last two seasons.
Mims (5'11/177) has been one of the best receivers in the Big 12 I’ve the last couple of years as he leads the conference with an 86.5 receiving grade. He’s an incredible route runner but also has the speed to stretch downfield for the big play, as he led the Sooners with 22 yards per catch last year. He considered the transfer portal after Lincoln Riley left for USC but decided to stay. This year he has former UCF quarterback Dillion Garbriel, who has two 3,500+ passing yards seasons, throwing to him. He can certainly help Mims continue to be a top receiver in the conference.
