Titans LG Peter Skoronski (foot) did not practice Wednesday.
Skoronski never left Sunday’s game with the foot issue, giving Titans some home that he’s being held out of Wednesday’s practice as a precaution. Logan Bruss will likely take his spot in the lineup if Skoronski can’t suit up this week.
  • TEN Tackle #77
Titans OG Peter Skoronski returned to practice on Wednesday.
Skoronski has missed the last three games after an emergency appendectomy, so it’s good to see him back out on the field. Since he was also listed as a full participant, it seems likely that the first round pick will return to the field on Sunday, which is good news for both Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry ahead of a game against the Colts.

Titans LG Peter Skoronski (appendectomy) is expected to return to practice this week.
Skoronski underwent an emergency appendectomy earlier this season and has missed the last three games as a result. Now, head coach Mike Vrabel said he expects Skoronski to return to practice this week, leaving the door open for a possible return in Week 5 against the Colts. We’ll know more about Skoronski’s status as practice begins on Wednesday.

Titans LG Pete Skoronski (appendectomy) will not play in Week 4 against the Bengals.
Skoronski has been out for two weeks because of the appendectomy and will miss at least one more game because of the issue. With Ryan Tannehill’s mobility declining in his age-35 season, the loss of a starting lineman is a notable issue for the Titans. Expect the Bengals to get to him multiple times in Week 4.

Titans LG Peter Skoronski (appendectomy) did not practice Wednesday.
Skoronski has missed two games because of the appendectomy and is likely to sit out for Week 4 as well. After beginning his career as a special athlete, Ryan Tannehill, now 35 years old, is looking more statue-like every week. Skoronski’s continued absence will remain a problem for the Titans’ efforts to keep Tannehill upright in Week 4 against the Bengals.
  • TEN Tackle #77
Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said he doesn’t anticipate Peter Skoronski (appendectomy) being available Sunday.
Recovery from an appendectomy is no small matter, even for NFL players. Skoronski has looked really good in his brief NFL career, so him not being on the field on Sunday will be a hit for this Titans offense against a solid Browns defensive line. Things could get a little hairy for Ryan Tannehill, and Derrick Henry could find the running lanes a bit harder to find on Sunday.
  • TEN Wide Receiver #10
DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) is active for Week 2 against the Chargers.
Hopkins did not get in a single practice rep during the week. It is quite possible he is on a snap count, though he is also the kind of veteran who could give it a full-go even after a week of DNPs. Nuk should be considered a volatile WR2 against a Chargers’ pass defense fresh off getting torched in the opener. Inactive for the Titans are S Amani Hooker, CB Kristian Fulton, OG Peter Skoronski, WR Colton Dowell, OLB Caleb Murphy, OLB Trevis Gipson and QB Will Levis. Rookie starter Skoronski is down with an illness.

Titans listed OG Peter Skoronski (illness) as questionable for Week 2 against the Chargers.
This will be one to watch come game day, as Skoronski wasn’t added to the injury report until Friday. Assuming he can kick whatever he’s dealing with by Sunday, we’d expect Skoronski to start in Week 2 against the Chargers. If he’s unable to go, we’d expect Xavier Newman to step up in his absence.
  • TEN Offensive Lineman #77
Titans signed No. 11 overall pick Peter Skoronski to a four-year deal with a fifth-year option.
Skoronski will battle to start at either tackle or guard for the Titans in his first season. People with vested stakes in Derrick Henry will be rooting for Skoronski to help turn around the offensive line after a dismal 2022 season. Skoronski’s arm length makes him a more likely starter inside, but the Titans are bereft enough at tackle that they might have to play him there.

  • TEN Offensive Lineman #77
Titans selected Northwestern T Peter Skoronski with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Skoronski (6’4/313) was a 4-star Center recruit from Park Ridge, Illinois in the 2020 recruiting class, according to 247 Sports. Skoronski had the opportunity to see the field beginning in his true freshman season at Northwestern after Rashawn Slater opted not to play during the 2020 COVID-19 season. Overall, he ended up starting at left tackle in every single game his entire tenure in Evanston. Across those three years, Skoronski allowed only six sacks and 12 QB hits total, according to PFF. This is especially remarkable considering the Wildcats’ poor finishes the last two seasons, amassing only four wins since 2021. He started and ended the 2022 season on the All-American lists, while receiving First Team All-Big Ten honors in his sophomore and junior seasons, and Second Team All-Big Ten honors his freshman season. The Outland Trophy finalist proved his mettle at the Combine by crushing his jumps with a 34.5” vertical (98th%), 9’07” broad (97th%) and a scorching 1.7s 10-yard split (96th%), to combine for an excellent 92.8 RAS. Although he only lined up at LT at Northwestern, Skoronski can probably play any position across the offensive line. Many analysts are concerned about his 32.25” arm length and lack of a stifling punch, projecting the Wildcats’ standout to kick inside. However, past successful outings against the likes of Aidan Hutchinson and George Karlaftis suggest that a future at tackle is possible. He is adept at redirecting speed rushers and walling off power rushers. Skoronski will rarely give up play leverage and has the tools to pick his fights in either hand or body leverage.
