The implication is that the Cardinals are fed up with Heap missing practices and games. He’s been out since Week 2 even though the Cards never seemed to think his knee injury was serious. Heap also missed six games last year due to a hamstring issue and was out for three more games during his final season as a Raven. Heap’s body is failing him at age 32.

He’ll return after Baltimore’s bye week at the earliest.

The Baltimore Sun made it sound like Heap is somewhat doubtful to play this Sunday. Heap was able to do some running on Monday, but it’s uncertain whether he’ll practice this week.

Heap wasn’t able to practice on Monday, so it looks like he’ll miss another week. This should help Chester Taylor’s workload.

He’ll probably be listed as doubtful. The Ravens have a bye week after Sunday night, so they are likely to continues resting their wounded.

Heap’s recovery hasn’t gone as fast as Baltimore would like. It sounds like they are targeting week eight now.

Heap and Flynn hope to return to the lineup next week, though nothing is certain.
