Wade

Wade is wearing a walking cast and didn’t practice this week.

He left during the third quarter. The Texans will update his condition during the week.

The free agent prize returned from a 4-6 week injury after two weeks and suffered a setback. He expects to rest until next weekend’s game.

Wade suffered a high ankle sprain yesterday.

Wade should be fine for next week.

Marcus Spears will start for Wade at right tackle.

The high-priced free agent acquisition may be ready for week eight.

“We haven’t had X-rays yet,” Wade said. “All I know is it’s probably a torn MCL. I’m not sure what it is exactly or if there’s more, but it doesn’t feel very good.” QB David Carr has already been sacked by the Chiefs twice and they don’t even play Kansas City until Sunday.

Wade will undergo surgery this week and be out for 4-6 months.

This probably will stick for the season, as Jansen has a broken ankle. Wade played well in a start last season, but could struggle against bull rushers.
