His ankle injury, suffered in week one, appears pretty serious. He could win the starting job back in Miami at some point, but he’s only worth grabbing in deep leagues for patient owners.

The Dolphins aren’t releasing info on his ankle injury. But it looks like Lamar Gordon will be the man in week two.

Lamar Gordon should see more time on third downs. It’s safe to drop Minor in virtually all leagues.

Miami looks likely to take away the primary running back job from Minor, one way or another.

Expect Minor to be a third-down type running back to open the season, making him very unattractive in fantasy leagues.

Minor was hurt on his first carry of the game, badly spraining his right ankle when it got stuck in the turf and another player fell on him.Minors’ value is slipping very fast as RB Lamar Gordon will more than likely get most of the snaps next week.

“That’s what I’m telling myself, but we have to see how it goes,” said Minor.

He’s not a candidate to start on Sunday. Long-term, however, Minor should have a significant role in the Miami backfield. Whether that has any fantasy value is debatable.

If Minor does play, he looks to only get limited playing time at best.

Brock Forsey or Leonard Henry will likely be inactive. Sammy Morris will remain the starter.
