Trey McBride caught 10-of-11 targets for 115 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 11 loss against the 49ers.
McBride showed perhaps the most fight of any Cardinals player in a blowout loss to the 49ers. The 25-year-old drew an unnecessary roughness penalty in the first half, following it up with a taunting penalty on the next play and playing aggressively throughout the game. He scored a garbage time touchdown in the second half and was Jacoby Brissett’s main target. However, with a negative game script and passes needing to go downfield more frequently, Michael Wilson out-targeted McBride on the day. Still, McBride is seeing elite volume with Brissett at quarterback and will be a fantasy TE1 for Week 12 against the Jaguars.

Trey McBride caught 9-of-13 targets for 127 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 10 loss against the Seahawks.
The Cardinals offense was pressed into a pass-heavy script a few minutes into the first quarter as the Seahawks took a multi-score lead thanks to defensive touchdowns. Arizona’s target distribution remained as concentrated as ever: Twenty-five of Jacoby Brissett’s 44 passes went to McBride or Marvin Harrison, Jr., who also managed a touchdown in the blowout script. McBride almost came up with a second score and a downfield reception that went off his fingertips. He now has five touchdowns over his past four outings. Fantasy’s top tight end will get the Niners in Week 11.

Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said QB Kyler Murray remains the team’s starter when healthy.
Gannon committed to Murray after Monday night’s upset win over the Cowboys and Arizona’s best three-game offensive stretch in memory. Jacoby Brissett has averaged 88 more passing yards per game than Murray this season, turning Marvin Harrison Jr. into a weekly top-12 fantasy play and Trey McBride into an elite, touchdown-scoring weapon. The Cardinals, for better or worse, are committed to Murray based on salary alone, even if the team’s offense is markedly worse with Murray, among the NFL’s worst passers. Murray, purportedly dealing with a serious foot injury, practiced throughout last week but did not get the start against Dallas. Arizona plays the Seahawks in Week 10.

Trey McBride caught 5-of-9 targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 9 win over the Cowboys.
McBride took a backseat to Marvin Harrison Jr. in the first half, with the team appearing intent on getting the second-year receiver going early by feeding him four targets on their first possession. He would find paint to start the third quarter from 12 yards out for his fifth score of the season, just one fewer receiving touchdown than he compiled in his first three years in the league combined. McBride remains an elite fantasy asset ahead of a divisional showdown with the Seahawks in Week 10.

Trey McBride caught 10-of-13 targets for 74 yards and two touchdowns in the Cardinals’ Week 7 loss to the Packers.
McBride continues to hit season-highs with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback. The tight end was the Cardinals’ definitive top pass-catcher and saw 13 total targets, converting those into 10 receptions for 74 yards. He nearly high-pointed a ball for an early touchdown, but the pass was broken up by Edgerrin Cooper. McBride found redemption later. His fantasy value has been elevated from good to elite with Brissett throwing him the ball. Kyler Murray is expected to return after the Cardinals’ Week 8 bye, decreasing McBride’s touchdown opportunities moving forward. McBride is still an elite fantasy TE1 the rest of the season.
  • ARI Tight End #85
Trey McBride caught 8-of-11 targets for 72 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 6 loss to the Colts.
McBride caught a season-high eight receptions with Jacoby Brissett at quarterback in the Cardinals’ Week 6 loss to the Colts. He was used in much of the same role as with Murray at quarterback, taking shallow looks and targets over the middle of the field. McBride made a great grab for his touchdown, high-pointing a well-placed pass from Brissett in the second half. His fantasy value will not fall off with Brissett at quarterback and he’s headed for a bump in red zone usage should Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) miss time. McBride remains a fantasy TE1 for Week 7 against the Packers.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Cardinals are “preparing for Jacoby Brissett to start” in Week 6 against the Colts.
Per Rapoport, Murray’s mid-foot sprain is a “version of a Lisfranc injury.” He added that it’s possible Kyler misses more than just Week 6. Murray missed the first two practices of the week before returning on Friday. He was listed as questionable after getting in a limited session. Brissett took the bulk of the reps with the starters in practice this week and Murray’s foot issue could worsen if he tries to play through it. We fully expect to see Brissett under center versus Indy. Brissett is nothing more than a QB2 for fantasy purposes, but he could boost Marvin Harrison Jr.'s fantasy outlook with a more aggressive style as a passer.

Trey McBride caught 5-of-7 targets for 41 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 5 loss to the Titans.
McBride continued to be Kyler Murray’s target between the sticks, leading the team with 7 total targets. He totaled just 41 yards and is still suffering from lack of touchdowns. McBride has an elite floor from his usage and will be in the TE1 range for Week 6 against the Colts.
  • ARI Tight End #85
Trey McBride caught 7-of-11 targets for 52 yards in the Cardinals’ Week 4 loss to the Seahawks.
McBride is stuck on just one touchdown through four contests after his 2024 scoring woes, but he has caught at least five passes for 43 yards all four times out. That’s an elite floor for the position, and we know ceiling efforts will be coming. Even if they’re not, McBride is long since proven as one of the most reliable PPR options in all of fantasy football. The Titans will be a soft Week 5 matchup for a Cardinals team that will be operating on 10 days rest.
  • ARI Tight End #85
Trey McBride caught 5-of-8 targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 3 loss to the 49ers.
Week 3 was business as usual for the superstar tight end. McBride led the Cardinals in targets and earned a 24 percent target share. He also scored his first touchdown of the season. That puts him a third of the way to his 2024 touchdown total. McBride remains Kyler Murray’s favorite target. He has at least five catches in every game this year. With Brock Bowers struggling over the past two weeks, McBride has seemingly taken the TE1 crown heading into Week 4 versus the Seahawks.
