Titans agreed to terms with WR Wan’Dale Robinson, formerly of the Giants, on a four-year, $78 million contract.
The rumored market for Robinson in free agency appeared to be the Titans or ... well, no, just the Titans. Everyone was saying it, you were hearing it more and more, and now it’s official. Robinson figures to be in the WR3 sphere as the lone receiver on the Titans who commanded targets last year. It’s not exactly an exciting landing spot, but the Titans will do a lot to keep Robinson’s fantasy value stable.

CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reports the Titans “have their eyes” on WR Wan’Dale Robinson.
Robinson will hit the open market next week unless the Giants extend before the start of the new league year. All signs point to them letting him walk. Coming off his first 1,000-yard outing, Robinson will have plenty of suitors in free agency. The Titans desperately need an always-open target for Cam Ward to rely on and have plenty of money to spare. They currently have over $90 million in cap space. The Tennessee connection is aslo one that ESPN’s Turron Davenport made earlier this offseason. Robinson will have multiple options, but the Titans are currently the favorite to land him.

SNY’s Connor Hughes says the odds the Giants re-sign free agent WR Wan’Dale Robinson “seem slim.”
Robinson is expected to have a decent market when free agency opens next week, and there’s some belief he could be a fit with the Titans, who hired Brian Daboll, Robinson’s former head coach, as their offensive coordinator. Hughes notes that sources he spoke with “believed Robinson is more likely to play elsewhere” next season which could create a void for the Giants out of the slot. Over the last two seasons, Robinson has totaled 185 receptions for 1,713 yards and seven touchdowns while averaging 9.3 yards per reception. He’s a low-ADOT receiver who does most of his damage after the catch and is capable of extending drives.

ESPN’s Turron Davenport believes “it isn’t out of the realm” for the Titans to keep Calvin Ridley and add Wan’Dale Robinson in free agency.
The Titans already have $100 million in cap space, so releasing Ridley wouldn’t exactly free them up to go anywhere they couldn’t already go. (Davenport admits it could still happen.) Robinson, a former Giant, would obviously be a worthwhile fit with his old head coach Brian Daboll calling plays in Tennessee. It’s very obvious that Cam Ward didn’t have enough weapons to work with last year, and while we’d stop short of calling Robinson a game changer for the Titans, he could at least help them figure out more about Ward in his second season.

Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson (rib) won’t play in New York’s Week 18 game against the Cowboys.
Robinson enters free agency off his first career 1,000-yard season, shedding his label as a quick-game only option by setting a career-high with 11.0 yards per reception. He turns 25 in a few days and will be one of the premiere free agents at wideout to hit the market if the Giants don’t tag him or otherwise extend him. The final seasonal line will be 92/1014/4 for Robinson, and his absence leaves Darius Slayton as a fine FLEX play in Week 18.

Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson (ribs) was not seen practicing on Thursday.
This marks Robinson’s second missed practice, putting him firmly in the questionable camp for Week 18. The Giants (3-13) have been playing for pride for some time, having been eliminated from playoff contention long ago. Having Robinson active against the division-rival Cowboys (7-8-1) would certainly be ideal, as the team continues to evaluate rookie QB Jaxson Dart. We still think Robinson has a chance to play this week, but they could choose to play things safely with their reliable slot receiver. Check back tomorrow for an update.

Giants WR Wan’Dale Robinson (ribs) was not seen practicing on Wednesday.
Robinson caught 11 passes last week. Seeing him appear on the injury report today is somewhat unsurprising. He still has a chance to suit up for the Giants’ Week 18 game against the Cowboys, though we would like to see him resume practicing tomorrow. He is a WR3 if active against the Cowboys’ accommodating defense.

Wan’Dale Robinson caught 11-of-14 targets for 113 yards in the Giants’ Week 17 win over the Raiders.
Robinson dominated targets from start to finish, earning a 48.3 percent target share against the Raiders. The talented slot receiver got open with ease, banking a 17-yard gain via a corner route on the Giants’ first drive, which set the tone for his day as a whole. Robinson regularly picked up intermediate gains on corner routes and out routes, snagging passes along the sideline. On the Giants’ sixth drive, he hauled in a pass on a 10-yard out route, putting him over the 1,000-yard mark on the season. Robinson is a WR3 against the Cowboys next week.

Wan’Dale Robinson caught 3-of-6 targets for 19 yards in the Giants’ Week 16 loss to the Vikings.
That Robinson easily led the Giants in receiving yards at just 19 tells you all you need to know about their passing attack. Jaxson Dart only attempted 13 passes, giving Robinson a monstrous 46 percent target share. He also added one carry for three yards. The Giants obviously couldn’t get anything going through the air, rendering Robinson obsolete, even as a potential PPR scam. He will be relegated to the WR4 ranks versus the Raiders next week.

Wan’Dale Robinson caught 5-of-10 targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in the Giants’ Week 15 loss to the Commanders.
Robinson made a nifty catch on a heave from Jaxson Dart on fourth down for his second receiving score in three games. He led the Giants in catches and finished second to Theo Robinson in receiving yards (72), but he was held in check for the overwhelming majority of the game until that late score. Robinson is a FLEX play with some upside against the Vikings in Week 16.
