Warrick Dunn is questionable with an ankle injury, but hopes to practice tomorrow.
Coach Jim Mora said wouldn’t say if it was an ankle or achilles injury. It’s apparently not a knee strain, which had been reported. Dunn believes he’ll be ready for Sunday.
  • TB Running Back
Warrick Dunn practiced Thursday in full pads.
Coach Jim Mora said Dunn looked 100%. Dunn, listed as questionable with a knee injury, looks very likely to start and take the majority of snaps on Sunday. He should rack up big yards versus Arizona.
  • TB Running Back
Warrick Dunn is expected to miss practice today because of a sprained knee.
It’s not a MCL sprain, so we guess that is good news. Dunn will probably be listed as questionable, but it sounds like he’ll play on Sunday.
  • TB Running Back
Warrick Dunn’s right leg injury apparently was nothing more than a cramp.
Dunn played well last night before leaving with soreness in his inner thigh.
  • TB Running Back
The Falcons may opt to keep just two tailbacks in Warrick Dunn and T.J. Duckett.
James Fenderson appears to be competing with rookie Quincy Wilson for the third running back spot, but with the team keeping two fullbacks (starter Justin Griffith and either George Layne or Stanley Pritchett), a third tailback may not be necessary. “I’d say Justin is our third running back,” coach Jim Mora said.

Warrick Dunn, who suffered a cramp in his hamstring Sunday, is expected to be fine for this weekend.
Dunn has been impressive thus far for the Falcons.
  • TB Running Back
Warrick Dunn left last night’s game with “cramping,” in his legs.
The team called it a strained left hamstring. They’ll update Dunn’s condition today, but it sounds somewhat minor.
  • TB Running Back
Warrick Dunn reminded coach Jim Mora as he left the field Sunday that “I can score too.”
The comment was made in jest. With T.J. Duckett settling in to a clear short-yardage, red/zone role, Dunn is unlikely to score often down the stretch.
  • TB Running Back
Warrick Dunn, recovering from surgery on the torn ligament in his foot, may not be 100% in time for training camp this summer.
He won’t be ready to fully join the Falcons in their offseason conditioning program. If you were debating whether to protect him in keeper leagues or not, this isn’t a great sign.
  • TB Running Back
Running back Warrick Dunn is improving quickly enough after surgery last winter to repair a torn ligament in his left foot that he might participate in limited fashion in the team’s final mini-camp, June 8-10.
Dunn will be a key player to watch this summer for health reasons. T.J. Duckett and/or rookie Quincy Wilson would benefit in fantasy leagues if Dunn doesn’t return the same.
