    Chiefs waived/injured LB Weston Dacus.
The Chiefs gave him a three-year contract as an undrafted rookie in 2008, but he went down with an undisclosed injury in training camp and probably wouldn’t have made the team anyway. At 6'1/232 without any stellar traits, Dacus isn’t a fit for new coordinator Clancy Pendergast’s 3-4 implementation.

    Chiefs waived ILB Weston Dacus.
Dacus was waived/injured last August and spent the 2009 season on I.R. He didn’t fit Kansas City’s 3-4, but could latch on with a 4-3 club this spring.

Chiefs promoted LB Weston Dacus from their practice squad.
It was incorrectly reported in late November that Dacus, an undrafted rookie, had been placed on injured reserve. The Chiefs gave him a three-year contract and hope that Dacus will help on special teams going forward.

Chiefs placed LB Weston Dacus (knee) on injured reserve, ending his season.
An undrafted free agent, Dacus saw some defensive action in his first year due to injuries in front of him and finished with eight tackles. The Chiefs will hope that they don’t have to rely on him much next season.
