Saints signed tight end Zach Hilton.
Another team, probably the Bills, showed interest in Hilton.
  • SF Tight End
Zach Hilton is currently running with the third-team offense at Saints training camp.
Those expecting Hilton to have a big carry-over from last season’s strong finish should take note. He’s behind Ernie Conwell and Mark Campbell for now, and will probably split playing time with them at best during the season. Stay away in drafts.
  • SF Tight End
Zach Hilton isn’t expected to make the Saints roster.
It looks like we got one of our “Busts” right and the season hasn’t even started. Hilton came on strong late last season, but doesn’t block well enough to stay on the field. Even if he makes the roster, it will be as a third-stringer. Drop him in fantasy leagues.
  • SF Tight End
Saints waived tight end Zach Hilton.
His release makes room for Ki-Jana Carter on the Saints roster this week.
  • SF Tight End
49ers signed TE Zachary Hilton and CB Markus Curry.
The 6-8/265-pound Hilton has good hands but hasn’t made an impact in the league since 2005. Curry, formerly of the Chargers, shouldn’t make the team.
  • CLE Linebacker
49ers released LB Colby Bockwoldt, OL Harvey Dahl, OL Damane Duckett, OL Tavares Washington, TE Zac Herold, TE Zachary Hilton, DE Sam Rayburn, S Darnell Bing, S Vickiel Vaughn, RB Zak Keasey, LB Mark Washington.
Bockwoldt and Hilton are former Saints who have bounced around the league quite a bit. Bing looks to be running out of chances quickly after getting drafted by the Raiders last year. Rayburn had some decent seasons with Philadelphia.
  • SF Tight End
The Saints low-tendered TE Zach Hilton.
He’s guaranteed a salary of $712,000 in 2006 but should command interest on the market. Hilton was undrafted out of UNC and teams wouldn’t have to forfeit a draft pick to sign him. He’s an intriguing player in fantasy, too, at 6-8 with soft hands.
  • SF Tight End
Zach Hilton led the Saints with seven catches and 83 yards in week 16.
A new QB (Todd Bouman) is often a tight end’s best friend. Hilton is a solid tight end play again next week against the Bucs.
  • SF Tight End
Zach Hilton caught five passes for 74 yards in week 17.
The next Boo Williams? Hilton put up 371 yards in the second half of the season, but will have to win a starting job in New Orleans all over again with a new coaching staff likely taking over.
  • SF Tight End
Zach Hilton caught six passes for 72 yards in week 11.
He got most of the looks at tight end with Ernie Conwell hurt. The Saints won’t play New England every week, so we wouldn’t get too excited.
