Jordan Schultz reports the Ravens will exercise Zay Flowers’ fifth-year option.
As Schultz notes, this will pay Flowers $28 million in 2027, and that is fully guaranteed. Flowers was already likely to have this option picked up before 2025. His 86-1,211-5 receiving line last year, good for WR1 fantasy numbers, ensured that the Ravens would lock him up for another year. Assuming Lamar Jackson is healthy this year, the Ravens’ offense should have no issues returning to form. That is especially true with Ben Johnson protege Declan Doyle taking over play-calling duties in Baltimore. A lack of passing volume will likely prevent Flowers from drastically improving his counting stats once again, but he should sit comfortably on the WR1/2 border for 2026.

ESPN’s Jamison Hensley believes “there’s a strong chance” the Ravens add a wide receiver at No. 14 overall.
Baltimore’s current three-deep at the position is an underwhelming trio of Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman, and Devontez Walker. Hensley notes that the Ravens have never selected a guard or center in the top half of the first round. We’re not entirely sure which of the major wideout prospects the Ravens would prefer, but it would certainly make sense for them to add one.

The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec reports the Ravens would “like to reach a deal sooner rather than later” to extend Zay Flowers.
Flowers’ fifth-year option hasn’t been picked up yet, but that’s regarded as a formality. Zrebiec believes that Flowers won’t match or exceed the contract numbers for Jaxon Smith-Njigba or Puka Nacua, but they probably “won’t be far behind.” Flowers posted a 86/1,211/5 receiving line in 2025 and again figures to be Baltimore’s No. 1 receiver in 2026 after an underwhelming offseason for Baltimore on the offensive side of the ball.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano reports “the impression” is the Ravens will pick up Zay Flowers’ fifth-year option.
Flowers is entering the final year of his rookie deal off a 86/1,211/5 receiving line, career highs in each area and especially impressive considering how often Lamar Jackson was playing hurt, as well as several games of backup quarterback play. This would seem to be a no-brainer to us on the surface. Flowers feels like the focal point of Baltimore’s passing game heading into the 2026 season.

Zay Flowers caught 4-of-6 targets for 138 yards and two touchdowns in the Ravens’ Week 18 loss to the Steelers.
Flowers got behind the defense for a 50-yard touchdown connection with Lamar Jackson in the fourth quarter, and the two connected on a beautiful 64-yard throw not long after. The 25-year-old scored three touchdowns over the final two games to finish the year with five while adding 86 catches for 1,211 yards. There may be some games that frustrate, but the overall production is tough to complain about. Flowers enters the 2026 offseason in the final year of his rookie contract and should be regarded as a fantasy WR2.

Zay Flowers caught 4-of-5 targets for 30 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens’ Week 17 loss to the Packers.
Flowers was just able to get across the pylon on a connection with Tyler Huntley in the fourth quarter. The 25-year-old was a bit of an afterthought during Saturday’s contest, but that was true for every Raven not named Drrick Henry. He should again be the top option in the passing attack whether it’s Huntley or Lamar Jackson (back) throwing him the ball in Week 18 against the Steelers.

Zay Flowers caught all seven targets for 84 yards in the Ravens’ Week 16 loss to the Patriots, adding 18 yards and a touchdown on once carry.
Flowers was the main cog of the offense through the air on a night starting quarterback Lamar Jackson departed in the second quarter with a back injury. His departure contributed to the team attempting only 20 passes, seven of which were directed to the veteran speedster. His returns were sparkling until a game-sealing fumble with just over two minutes remaining cost the Ravens the game and lowered their chances of reaching the playoffs. Flowers gets another difficult matchup against the Packers in Week 17.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers (neck) is not on Baltimore’s final Week 16 injury report.
He got in two full practices after being added with a neck injury on Thursday, and should be considered as close to 100 percent as anyone still active in Week 16 of an NFL season can be. Flowers profiles as a WR2 against the Patriots in Week 16.
  • BAL Wide Receiver #4
Ravens WR Zay Flowers (neck) practiced fully on Thursday.
While Flowers’ full participation is encouraging, being added to the injury report with a neck injury mid-week is certainly unideal. Flowers is the Ravens’ only reliable wide receiver. It is worth checking back tomorrow to see if he maintains full practice participation. Stay tuned.

Zay Flowers caught 3-of-5 targets for 68 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens’ Week 15 win over the Bengals.
Nearly all of Flowers’ production came late in the first half during a two-minute warning drill. Flowers kicked things off with an impressive 26-yard reception to start the drive, and found himself on the receiving end of a deep ball from Lamar Jackson for a 28-yard touchdown four plays later. Flowers nearly found a second touchdown of the day on the Ravens’ first possession of the third quarter, but was unable to haul in a leaping catch. Flowers did about as much as fantasy managers could have hoped for in a game were Jackson threw only 12 passes. Flowers will be on the WR2 radar in Week 16 against the Patriots.
