USA Golf has officially announced its roster for the Rio Games, which completes the 555-athlete U.S. delegation for the 2016 Olympics. View the entire roster here.

The golfers were already known, as the qualification period concluded a week ago, but the announcement didn’t come until Monday afternoon.

The 555 U.S. athletes are more than the 530 who competed in the 2012 London Games, according to, but fewer than the all-time record 647 American athletes who participated in the 1996 Atlanta Games.

More athletes could be added based on the possible reallocation of quota spots, plus three fencing replacement athletes, if they compete in Rio. All athletes are pending until the U.S. Olympic Committee officially nominates the team, which should come in the next week.
