ESPN Colts reporter Mike Wells called second-year WR Quan Bray a “player worth keeping an eye on.”
Bray is expected to retain his job as the team’s primary return specialist but could be headed for a role in four-receiver sets after failing to catch a pass as a rookie in 2015. “Quan has had two really good days as a wideout,” said coach Chuck Pagano said. “He can make plays and make-miss ability out in the open field.” Bray is competing for reps alongside undrafted rookies Marcus Leak and Chester Rogers. It’s a thin group at wideout behind starters T.Y. Hilton, Donte Moncrief and Phillip Dorsett.
